Location and food
The way I was charged at Taj Swarna, I had been given upgrade options after I bought my stay first, consequently I had accepted upgrade twice before my Real stay date.
What normally upgrade is our first booking stays as it is and there are add on. But somehow you guys decide to upgrade me to one complimentary Airport ride on my second acceptance of your offer and when I accepted the third upgrade this complimentary option was taken away without my awareness.
Now at the last day of my stay, I had to pay 2500 rs extra for airport pick up on my bill , I felt that I was being cheated (as this ride could have cost me just under 500 rs on Uber) . I did try to explain my whole upgrading with your email offers at reception but I end up paying this amount.

I was at the hotel for my birthday, but did not mention it. The hotel staff must have noticed it on my ID document and surprised me with a birthday cake - which was an extremely thoughtful gesture!

Excellent spa, and clinginess of the property, quality of finish I felt like I'm not in India. Wonderful and friendly people of the hotel make your stay beautiful. Definitely recommending Taj hotel. Swimming pool flawless and clen.
Set Menu wasn't what I would expect.
Breakfast was nice but do not recommend to choose an option with breakfast lunch and dinner included.
Lunch and dinner menu is same and its more like dinner menu but staff let us choose lunch from restaurant menu without any additional payment which was nice as we could enjoy bit more of the lunch type of food for lunch. So overall even this turnout to be a good experience afterall.

Staff is exceptionally hospitable specially duty manager Ankushpal singh and Govind at the Chinese restaurant.

The overall stay was nice. Staff was very helpful.
The outer windows need washing, and the area outside the windows needs cleaning as lots of bird waste has accumulated there.

My friends luggage had gone missing between Goa and Amritsar. if it was not for the efforts of Pankaj I am in no doubt that the delay in locating her luggage would’ve been greater!
The breakfast is excellent and you get a great taste of Punjabi style dishes.
The room was spacious and the bed was excellent.
The service and the range of dishes for dinner was marvellous. Shivam was very attentive and polite.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
