Fantastic location, within walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge and shopping. Hotel had great facilities such as bar, pool and spa. Our executive family room was a great size with 2 beds and a sofa bed.

The location was good

It is dated, uncomfortable and a bit grimy.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Man ist in wenigen Minuten an der Brooklyn Bridge. Auch U-Bahn erreicht zu Fuß in 2 Minuten.

The attendants were very nice. When I needed extras, they gladly provided.

Only one chair provided in the room I paid well for, and the very edge of this chair, had tattered upholstery I felt before I looked to see the horror! I could not believe this was at "The Marriot!" I had to call that first day of my 2 day stay to get the only chair replaced. Also, the tub corner could use some cleaning; Additionally, when turned on, both the shower spigot and the bottom faucet continued to run...uncomfortably pummeling my feet as I showered. Also, Marriot needs to explain to its' customers prior to booking, that parking adjacent to the hotel is $60.00 daily. That would be nice to know beforehand as decisions on car rental could hedge on that. Another disappointment was seeing the room across the hall from me with double bedding, looking much more aesthetically equipped, with a small couch, chairs, and special lamps lighting what I perceived to be a mirrored area of the bedroom. Just because I as a 2-day guest, should not mean I;m charged unfairly for very poor accommodations. I feel as a Senior, I was taken advantage of. I hope it had nothing to do with my presence after traveling overnight on an Amtrak. Some are judged too harshly. Booking the accommodations in advance, I clearly was not there looking for a handout. Marriot needs to do better.

La limpieza me pareció muy buena.

Los baños necesitan una reforma. Me llamó la atención que el sistema de encendido y apagado de las luces, fuera tan antiguo y no hubiera un botón o tarjeta de apagado general. El armario es mínimo y no hay sitio para guardar casi nada.

The area and the cleanliness of the lobby and bar areas

The pool area needs to be maintained better, it was water and hair on the floor around the pool and jacuzzi. Also the TV was not working in our room no one came to fix it after 3 calls. They moved us the next day but it was later in the afternoon, but they did credit my account for it.

Good location and I liked the amenities. The pantry was great for travelling with a family and the pool was a nice addition.

We were disappointed in the staff response to our complaint. The battery in the fire alarm died and was beeping at 1:00 in the morning. We thought some sort of discount was in order as it disturbed all our sleep but the staff said they were unable to do anything and the manager was nowhere to be found.

I like the location. My Chinese housekeeper and my bellman. The black guy behind the front desk was rude. He was there on Oct 4. Not helpful at all. But the worst is the internet. There is no excuse for a hotel this size and a Marriott not to provide a free internet to hotel guests without having to go through so much trouble and still didn't get it. No service for food. The only coffee shop with a long line is shut down at 11 am. We came back after a long day in the city wanting to go to the pool and shut down at 5. I will NEVER recommend this hotel.

Water in vending machines were all sold out in 9th floor and the 10th, 11th floor…I arrived in midnight and ended up drinking tap water (I heard it’s safe to drink though). Wish the hotel has supplied the stocks

The staff were helpful and very nice, the room was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, I loved how strict they were with security made me feel safe. And the breakfast was delicious, will definitely be visiting again!
