Location was ideal. The history and beauty of the building is what makes staying there such a special experience.
The only thing was the shower head, I had a little trouble getting the shampoo out of my hair, very little power.

Fantastic stay. Beautiful property with so much history. Staff were lovely and location super central. Loved even sitting the fire in the lobby. Breakfast was first rate as were the hotel employees and wait staff.

The hotel has an amazing classic feel and elegance to it.
The first room I received was dirty (someone’s hair all over the bathroom floor, stains on the carpet and bedding). Ended up complaining and being moved to a suite, when staff was making the sofa bed, they discovered used/dirty linens already on the mattress. Outside of the hotel (a Portland city problem)it’s pretty disgusting with the homeless prowling the sidewalks defecating on the streets and open drug usage, which was concerning with my children accompanying me on the vacation.
