The location

My card was charged 5 times for a 4 night stay. Each time I woke up another charge was made for almost $200.00 each time not counting the big charge for my room charge. I also was told that my room wouldn’t be cleaned unless I requested it to be done which I did on Saturday and it wasn’t cleaned until Sunday after 2:00

Very close walking distance to the river walk ,and the variety of food for breakfast.

Breakfast was great! As usual, warm and eating area clean. The room was clean and comfortable. Location of hotel is the best part of the stay.

What I didn't like was that I had booked a Junior Suite, through Booking.com and I was given a double room. It wasn't what I had reserved and wasn't told at check-in but yet I was charged for a Junior Suite. Everyone loves their own bed and we had to share a bed which were small, I had requested queen beds. When I noticed, I spoke with person at the desk and he was directed to either offer me comp parking or charge me for double room that he couldn't do both. We all know that it can be done. Regardless I was less than happy with the service this time around at La Quinta. Very disappointed.

The location is great. We've come here for years, primarily because of where it is in proximity to sights, shopping, etc. We use valet parking, and the attendants are always so spot on. Quick and efficient. The hotel was especially busy, but they checked me in quickly (even a little early) despite the rush of people in town for conferences and a sporting event. While my wife and I were relaxing before dinner out, we noticed that the TV remote wasn't working. I contacted the front desk, and they sent a maintenance worker within minutes to get us going. I always enjoy a nightcap at the bar in the lobby before turning in, and the pool and hot tub is nice too. Breakfast in the morning is awesome.

This La Quinta location is excellent. 2 blocks from the Riverwalk & Alamo. There is a mall very close too. It is very clean! This location is heavily staffed with great people always ready to help if you need it. Parking on site is a big plus. it was well lit, and staff occasionally walked through the lot. There are the normal amenities mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, in the room. They have a great selection at breakfast. Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt, toast, cereal, and fresh fruit. Big dining area to sit. I know I'm forgetting things, but this is the place to stay downtown SA!

the location. really convenient if you are touring downtown.

the parking if you leave to go elsewhere besides downtown, good luck trying to find an open parking space when you come back. Also, when you try to find parking on last row towards Dennys side and there ain’t no parking available, you are reversing your vehicle all the way back to the next row, which makes this very unsafe.

we couldn’t park at hotel because it was full and a person that stayed was crying at the counter bc her truck was stolen but when we go to park we can not we was directed to another parking lot. had roaches
