The pictures did not look anything like room, it was very run down. Toilet handle was broken, last guests hair was in the shower drain, and the bed was very stiff.
We did not enjoy the cleanliness of the room. This place could use a renovation. WiFi did not work and neither did the “cable” tv. Very misleading place to stay.

No air conditioning/heat in room. Towel shelf came apart and fell, just missing me. Everything (motel and grounds) was just worn and shabby (except carpet). Breakfast had basically no healthy choices.

Großes Zimmer, nettes Personal, wir durften einen Zaun für unsere Pferde im hinteren Bereich über Nacht aufstellen
Alles war sehr gut

Location, outdoor pool, price $, pets allowed and very friendly staff.
This is a mid-century roadside motel which can definitely use a facelift. Past smoking in rooms might never come out of outdated carpeted floors and wallpaper. Consider skipping breakfast. Don't expect much and you won't be disappointed ...

Kids loved the pool, relatively close to national parks.
Lots of wear and tear in the room. Not the cleanest.

You get what you pay for. We decided to stay in Kanab but didn't have a reservation. This was one of the last motels available so we got two rooms.
The pool was in decent condition and it had a 6 foot end. The kids loved that.
The facilities were run down. Just about everywhere you looked, something was disheveled.
The reception area was small, and that was where breakfast was served. The signs were held up with tape, and their printer wasn't working, so we couldn't get a receipt.
Our rooms were a fairly decent size but it needed an overhaul. Everything was old. Our tub didn't look clean. There were holes in the walls and 2 of the 4 light bulbs above the sink were out. After my shower, I used the blow dryer and it almost caught on fire. I immediately turned it off. I had to go to our other room to use theirs. The beds were horrible. I looked under one mattress and it was stained.
Breakfast was bare minimum. When we got to breakfast, there were only waffles and yogurt left. No eggs or protein. The coffee was gone. We decided to eat elsewhere.
Overall, go elsewhere if you can. We wish we did.

Mattresses were comfortable to sleep on.
Coffee maker was made available but without carafe (glass pot). TV was out of order; the volume control was stuck on the loudest setting thus spent two nights without any news. Mini refridge was very dirty. Did not feel cooling items efficiently. The floor sqeeked badly and created lots of noise, woken up when one went bathroom.

We needed an early check-in, and they accommodated us. Room had all of the promised amenities, and everything was clean and in good working order.
Booking.com showed the hotel as pet-friendly, but at the hotel, signs said only dogs were allowed, and a deposit would need to be paid. As we had planned to do a “sleepover” with a cat from the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, this was an unexpected hurdle. In the end, the hotel was willing to allow the.”cat sleepover” at no extra charge, but we had to cancel the planned “sleepover” because of a snowstorm.
Talk to the hotel directly, rather than relying on the booking company’s information.

This room was the dirtiest rooms I have ever been in, if I could leave less then a 1 I would. The shower had hair in it, the tissue holder had dirty tissue in it, there was mold in the freezer and they had not vacuumed I found full size tomatoes on floor. I have stayed in older properties plenty of times but this one was just down right dirty and gross!

good location
not a lot of choice for breakfast, staff rarely at front desk, super expensive washer ( and we were told to get detergent and change at the grocery store nearby)

It was a convenient location
The bathroom floor was filthy. There was a dirty washcloth left in the bathroom.

cheap
lies about having a refrigerator. they have a “cooler” with some sort of trickling water going on inside—says not to use for perishable food…then what’s the point? also—no first floor (even though options we clearly available)—I’m injured and they put me on second floor with no elevator.

I like the location, easy walk-through town. The man a front desk was nice & helpful. The beds firm enough, T.V. worked:)
I got what I paid for. And I will stay again. Its old. Walls could be painted, the carpet could be replaced or maybe just cleaned (it wasn't bad) I'm never in the room, so as long as the shower works, clean towels, and a firm bed, I'm good. Don't expect a 5 star room!

The location was great.
The waffles available during the breakfast were delicious.
The jacuzzi was warm and the kids had a great time in the pool.
The receptionist called when we booked to let us know he would be able to accommodate our request to check in between 10-11pm local time but would locking up the office at 11:30pm.
The rooms had been renovated and appeared clean.
There were was a persistent smell of urine around the toilet.
The outdoor jacuzzi had an assortment of dead bugs swirling around in it and the pool had a good amount of leaves that had blown in.
My brother-in-law’s room smelled like a dog had been kept in it (quite likely since the motel allows pets for an extra charge).
I think the owner means well but could use more cross-cultural training. He micromanaged the breakfast telling a fellow traveler “No, no! Don’t touch” when she poured herself a cup of coffee. He also insisted on a tip for cleaning the room like a panhandler when we were packing our car even though there was already a $10 COVID cleaning fee added to our bill.

Poor excuse for breakfast, microwave was fit for pigs, the man in charge was handlythe beagles with bare hands
Clean the place up ! Our room was dirty. The fridge was warm and the ac unit sounded like a farm tractor.
