I was worried about getting the door code only 24 hours before arrival. I knew phone reception could be spotty. Our party had both phones, lap top computers. Phones, text and email were available. My worry was really not a concern. There was a leak in the kitchen drain that Vacasa did try to respond to - but we were out most of the day and didn't communicate well as to coordinate a time for someone to take a look at it.

Nothing.

We could not get to the front of the house to get the keys, the snow was 6feet deep 10 feet from the door. No one communicated to us that we would have to shovel a walkway through a snow bank. Or where the shovel was. We knew there was a bear fence and did not want to get shocked. One of the Vacasa people said the shovel was in the garage. (We could not see a garage. Turns out there isn’t one.) The other Vacasa person said that some one local would call us. No one ever did. Vacasa also told us it was our responsibility to shovel, though it doesn’t say that anywhere and if they really wanted a good review maybe they would have given us a heads up so we could plan ahead, like buy a shovel and show up before it was dusk and freezing cold. We eventually got to the porch and did not get shocked. There was a shovel. So we finally got into house. Thermostat inside house was stuck too.

I did like how big the cabin was and the location of it.

The beds were uncomfortable, woke up sore most of the time, and not enough blankets. Would be a good idea to update the beds to more modern and bigger. It was cold! Also lacking some basic cooking spices and things like olive oil/salt and pepper etc. Also a lot of the dishes were put away dirty, like the coffee maker and water boiler were almost rusted over. Luckily I brought a french press.

Heater in living room did not work. Large burner on stove wasn’t working nor the light and fan over oven. Garbage disposal making funny noise.

Comfortable and very good tv in living room. Saw some bear activity which we enjoyed seeing.

Too old. Front steps are like braking apart. Not clean. One bathroom had no trash bags. Stove tops some were not connected and wouldn’t turn on. One dinner table chair was already broken. Back yard had a lot of fallen branches making it impossible to enjoy the back yard.

We appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. The view of the night sky and the feel of fresh air was most incredible.

The master bedroom had a hard mattress and a semi broken shower head. The amenities Weren’t fully stocked for a big family.

The only good I found was that is close to the lake and quiet

Not what you spect for what the charge we found dirty socks next to the pillows garbage at the kitchen master bath not clean clothes on laundry no hot water for a day strong smoke smell inside the cabin driveway close with snow not a good vacation at all

Good location.

Furnishings were extreamly outdated. Mattresses were bad. Uncomfortable Pillows. Only half the lamps worked. Raccoon (critter) was crawling around under house and was trying to claw into the bottom of the bathtub. The gate was broken and covered by a small piece of plywood. Key entry was confusing. The lock sets need attention as one of the keys was not functional. Over priced for the run down amenities.
