The property was excellent, and the neighborhood was quiet.

This house advertised a pool & spa, which was in very poor condition. The Queen bed was really a double. Our guests had to sleep on the couch after the 1st night because the bed was not structurally sound. The kitchen was poorly equipped, think used dorm room pots, pans, & silverware. The price per night is not commensurate with the quality that we have come to expect with VROB. Disappointed!

Overall very nice house however there were a few concerns. Upon entry to the house we were instantly greeted by a very strong animal smell, I’m pretty sure there were pets in the house on the furniture and what not because we got dog hair on our clothing. The master bathroom showers hot water didn’t work and was so filthy with hair and dirt in it that we didn’t even use it. Yes the house looks remodeled but you can see noticeable flaws. The first night we weren’t able to use the sauna because the heater wasn’t working and the pool was freezing, even after following the instructions of the property owner. We reached out for assistance but no response. However, the next day it started working which was nice. While laying in the bed in one of the rooms the mattress fell through the frame due to the wood pieces not being screwed down, that was fun. Also the bbq grill partially works. Like I said overall very nice property in a quiet area however not the cleanest inside from the kitchen to the restrooms which was a big deal to us. Nonetheless we made best of our stay but excited to go home.

Overall we had a very pleasant stay. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable for my family. We enjoyed swimming in the pool during the hot summer days, and the sunset view from the backyard was nice.

We loved staying here. There were 6 of us and the beds worked out perfectly. We used the hot tub the first night and it was easy to turn on. My only complaint is that I couldn't get hot water in the master bath shower...not sure why but hot water everywhere else. We would definitely stay here again.

This was a great home. My issue was with check in and using TVs. When we arrived we didn’t get the access code to the house the owner was very responsive and gave us the info quickly. yet i would have liked to have it ahead of time the owner was very kind and mentioned they would fix that issue. The other issues was the TVs none of the TVs in the home worked. I had a slow response from the owner and when I did he said he didn’t know the issue. So we just didn’t watch TV the entire trip. Which is okay but the kids wanted to watch a movie and we couldn’t!

We spent 2 weeks here and absolutely loved it!! The location was excellent as it was in a nice, quiet, safe neighborhood.
The home was lovely and the perfect fit for my family. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub! Only thing really to say in a negative was that the pool/hot tub did have a lot of flys and what not in it. My husband did his best to clean them out but with the pool not fully enclosed this is to be expected. We didn’t let it stop us from enjoying it to the fullest! We had a fantastic family vacation and the home was perfect for what we were looking for.

The house is in a great location. There is easy access to shops and restaurants. The pool worked well.
However, there were a few items that could use improvements. There should be a binder that contains instructions on how to turn on the heat for the pool, where to set the handles for the hot water for the showers and WiFi information should be easy to find. Some furniture was over worn. For instance , dining table looked in need of repair, chairs were uncomfortable, coffee table was unstable, bathroom could use hand towel racks, shower in the master bath is in need of shelves/ ledges for personal use, and bed mattress are very hard and uncomfortable.. Sheets were itchy so maybe use a hypoallergenic detergent. And, bath nozzle needs attention. Otherwise it suted our purchase.

We came with our family with an infant, 2 year old and two grandparents. It was a wonderful home for families. Two parks close by that were perfect. We were happy to have a home base in a safe neighborhood.

We stayed during my son’s Volleyball Tournament at Cal Lutheran which was a short drive. This house is in a lovely neighborhood & very central to shops, restaurants. The kitchen is very well stocked with all new appliances and all the rooms had everything we needed including TV’s! Would highly recommend.

We needed to stay in Thousand Oaks to see our son perform at a local theater.
This was a great location for us and the place was great.
We would stay again and if our son gets another role, we will be there.

Had a wonderful time at this property, it was clean upon arrival and exactly as described. Very close to restaurants and easy access to the fwy. Jeremy (host) was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. 5/5 experience book confidently.

We loved Jeremy's property -- it was exactly as the pictures display and even more beautiful in person! We loved the peaceful and quiet neighborhood and had a very relaxing stay. Jeremy was very easy to communicate with, we would love to stay again!!! 5 stars for sure!

We were coming in for a wedding and needed ample space for four adults and two children. We are from the area and this place was perfect! Interaction with the property manager was good. He responded promptly to all emails. The house was well kept and clean! Loved the open floor plan! Having the pool/spa was a bonus and we used both! Centrally located to the surrounding area! We accidentally left property at the house and the property manager was quick to gather it and allow for pick up. Will definitely be staying here again!

The home was great - nice neighborhood, clean and new inside, and plenty of space for several adults. My only issue was we did not have internet the entire stay. Not a major problem, but an inconvenience nonetheless. Otherwise, it was perfect for our needs.

The home was under construction when we got there. Boxes were everywhere, no kitchen table, dust everywhere from the construction, and the beds had no linens on them. I messaged the host 3 times with no reply. We couldn't stay there.

Beautiful home. Could use a little better cleaning company, but nothing gross found, just overall not super clean. Comfortable beds, but could use better quality pillows. Pool and spa was perfect for our family. The space, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and location couldn’t be beat! Thank you!

It was fine. The dishwasher needs repair. We hand washed our dishes. Hard for an owner to know unless someone tells them. The property served us well.

This was our first stay in a Vrbo to attend a memorial service. The property is great - located in a quiet neighborhood close to shopping and convenient stores. The layout and amenities are perfect! Communication with the property manager was great. Beds were made and clean. Tv's and Direct TV on point. The WiFi was strong with all our devices. We took advantage of the Pool onsite with safety fence around it! Our one complaint was the cleanliness. We had to clean the showers and restrooms. We read other comments about the dirty furniture but we understand how hard it would be to maintain clean furniture - not an issue for our stay. We would stay again.

The home is as beautiful as the photos look -- spacious, clean, heated pool and lots of TVs. Friends and family gathered here for a small birthday weekend getaway. We even brought out little dog, who loved rolling in the grass. Highly recommend the home. Owners were responsive.

Arrived to property and had an RV parked in the driveway so we couldn't access the drive way and had to park on the street.
Pool / Hot Tub was not clean enough to use - considering it was a golf trip - partial reason for selecting the property was for the pool/spa
No internet or cable upon arriving - contact landlord said he was working on it than no response until the next day - told him if it didn't get fixed we were moving to another location - promised it was - never got fixed and 5 guys in a house for 3 days with no cable / tv wasn't alot of fun.
Landlord said he would give a discount but never fallowed through .... I would not recommend the property

Overall, our stay was great! The pool and hot tub were great to use as was the nice sized backyard. We also utilized their bbq while staying at their home. We visited for a college graduation and it was absolutely perfect!

Pros: house is in a good location and there is a well equipped playground within walking distance for kids. Owner was responsive and helpful in addressing an issue with the internet
Cons: house looks renovated, but primarily superficial changes. Similar to other reviews, the cleanliness of the house was unacceptable. Food left in refrigerator and cabinets. Dirty to the point that it made the stay unpleasant. Furniture looked like it was out of a fraternity house. Needs deep, deep clean and relayed this information to the owner (who offered to send his cleaner, but the scope of the work is beyond that of just a simple 1hr cleaning).
For the price, you should receive more and I would recommend finding alternative arrangements if possible unless cleaning issues have been resolved.

We enjoyed our stay here, the house was pretty much as advertised. The house really needs an info book to describe how to use the pool equipment (which is pretty manual twisting of various valves) and other house amenities. The owner said in previous reviews all info is online but it's not unfortunately. The jacuzzi heats up fast which is nice. We had a few hiccups like the gardeners letting themselves into the yard while we were all hanging out, the cleaning crew showed up early before checkout, and there was still a bunch of random personal items left in drawers. If there were just a few lounge chairs around the pool it would have improved the backyard experience greatly. BBQ works but was showing it's age when we were there. Beds were comfy and clean as advertised, house overall was in nice shape. Location is good or not that great depending on what you're looking for, it's pretty buried in the suburbs about a 5-10 min drive off the freeway. But getting to Malibu isn't too bad. Probably wouldn't go out of my way to book this place again, but was good for what we needed when we were there. Owner was fairly responsive when we had questions.
