The most helpful, lovely and kind staff who could not do more for us.
Although no elevator the receptionist helped us with our huge suitcase! Beyond kind.
The room was very comfortable for a family of four. Very nice beds. Good location for Shinjuku.
Thank you for a lovely stay Sakura Cross Hotel.
Nothing.

Property was clean and had all the necessities, was also very roomy for 2 especially compared to others I have looked at around the same price. Was away enough from the hustle of shinjuku that it was quiet for sleeping but a. Lose enough work to go out or catch the trains.
There was nothing I didn’t like

Sakura is neat, clean, has easy check in, fast wifi, has full baths in the bathroom, is close to restaurants and convenience store, and in a great location one stop from Shinjuku station.
Rooms are small (our 2nd bed was a fold out couch), they bombard you with emails, and have lots of rules/fines e.g., $300 for wearing shoes in your room. The room has a kettle but no microwave/kitchen, there are no other facilities in the hotel and no staff present most of the time. That said, we would stay again.

Très grande chambre (rare à Tokyo) mais un peu excentré
Le check in un peu compliqué mais en anticipation

Our room was very clean and tidy and the bed/pillows were super comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful with providing restaurant recommendations and helping with getting our luggage up and down the stairs. Good location - only a 10 min walk to the train with lots of seven 11’s and Family Marts close by. Would stay again!
The kids were happy sleeping on the futon mattress but I would have been uncomfortable sleeping on it, as the mattress wasn’t full size and you could feel the bar underneath . Fine for young kids, but I wouldn’t recommend the futon for adults. Rooms are small but that’s to be expected in Japan.

Location is great! Close walk between two train stations! Staff were attentive and very friendly
Size was abit cosy but for Shinjuku location I believe it is normal. Room size is manageable for 4 people :)

Friendly staff and modern, clean room.
A little noisy from the regular emergency sirens on the main roads.

The hotel is modern and the room was clean. Pleasant heating in the room. About 5 minutes walk from the metro. Close to a Family Mart to buy something for breakfast.
The room was small for four people: a double bed and a sofa-bed. When you opened the sofa-bed, there was almost no space to put your suitcases. I didn't think the quality-price ratio was good (although perhaps the problem of room size and price is common to all of Tokyo). There is no staff at the hotel, it is self check-in. Breakfast is not offered, nor any other service that one can expect in a hotel.

clean and near enough from train station
room was slightly tight and sofa bed was very small, had to combine with the ottoman and remember not to roll off the futon

I like how they respond promptly to messages and the room was really clean when we arrive.
Room was bigger as compared to other family rooms we stayed in Japan. Location was also good and there is a family mart that is only a few steps aways!
I wish we could talk to an actual person. All transactions were via a tablet.
We had an emergency on our last day but we could not talk to anyone , they left a phone number to call but we didn't have a local phone /SIM to contact that number and using our phone will incur really expensive cost. They should provide a telephone on the front desk so we could actually talk to someone especially for emergency situations.

The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious with a great view. The hotel was in a good part of town, close enough to walk to a garden and downtown, very close to a station but far enough to be seperated from the loudest parts. It's still a busy city so you're going to get noise but we fell asleep easily every night. The bathroom is in the same room, but easy to cover up any unwanted noises by turning on the TV (haha). The stairs were a bit rough as we were on the 4th floor and walking a lot every day but we were warned there would be no elevator and, at the end of our stay, were even offered assistance. The staff is friendly and unobtrusive. Overall a great stay!
Nothing. Everything exceeded expectations. We'll be happy to try again!

I really liked the location of this hotel. It is close to Higashi Shinjuku Station. It is also near plenty of food, convenience stores, and coin laundries.
We were lucky to be on the first floor, but I don't think there is an elevator, which could be an issue if you have a lot of luggage.

Good value for money
If you plan to travel alot with Tokyo Metro would a good location, as it is close to Higashi-shinjuku station. But if you a JR Line Shinjuku station it would be around 15 minutes walk or catch one stop on the metro and walk for 10 minutes

It was a clean room, clean sheets and nice and modern bathroom and toilet.
The location is okay, you will need to work at least 10-15 minutes to get anywhere good, its up a hill as well so something to be mindful of. The rooms are WAY too small, it's good if you're okay to sleep in a cramped space. Just makes it difficult if you all have suitcases.

the bed
room was small.
check inn after 4pm, check out at 10am pretty big gap for the price we paid.
no staff at any times.
no place to leave the luggages, before check inn or after check out….
no elevator and we had to take our suitcase 4 floors up on our own…
all the experience was very disappointing.

The room was fabulous! Very clean. The beds were so comfy. The shower was great. We were lucky enough to score a balcony. It had great views of the city. Location was in a quieter part of Shinjuku, (which is a very good thing if you want to sleep!) about 5 mins walk from the nearest subway or a 15 min walk into the bustle of Shinjuku. Check-in was very easy as they gave us clear instructions.
The steps were a killer. But honestly, after walking 20-30k steps a day around Tokyo, the extra 20 steps at the end were nothing in comparison.
