Location in the old town was perfect as it was walkable everywhere including to the ferry terminal for Helsinki.
No kettle in the room. Have to climb down 1 flight of stairs each time I need hot water. Not much interaction with staff as opening hours of Reception were short and everything is done online. Pillow was too soft, no support at all.

The style of this hotel is amazing, very medieval old school vibes but yet the rooms still have everything you would need. The location of this property was brilliant, right next to Viru Gate and just a few minutes walk from the town hall square. Also close to tram stops if you like to use public transport. With plenty of shops, restaurants and bars so close. Also less than 20minutes drive from airport, use Bolt, it’s fantastic! The communal kitchen/dining area is a great feature too, beautiful set up and very convenient
Only thing, was no elevator. Fine most of the time as the stairs are not too many, but bit difficult with luggage and also after a loooong day of walking all around the beautiful Tallinn. However I did see the lovely staff helping people to carry luggage aswell so it’s not a major issue for me, just worth noting for future guests

Excellent location, right inside the old town and everything is within 10 mins walk. Quiet, no issues with noise. The shared kitchenette area was a bonus. Nice decor in public spaces. Maria at reception was very informative and helpful.
Bathroom needed modernisation, the shower leaves water all over the floor and the toilet and sink fittings needed updating. Better pillows and more towels would be welcome.

The location.
The inside of the hotel is really nice and whimsical.
Nice back porch, good kitchen access if you want to prep your own food.
There is no staff at the front desk after certain hour, which is ok until you need assistance. Drunk Russians decided to have a party at the front hotel door in evening, loud, obnoxious, left after I screamed out of the window. Hence, the front desk would be helpful.
The breakfast attendant is more interested in her cellphone rather than guests.
There is an ungodly amount of black mold in the shower.
No AC so please think twice if you want to stay at this hotel during the summer months.
