Staff were great.
Starting to look tired, I stayed at utilitia bowl and far more modern

nice and quiet room and the restaurant was good too
the bed was a little bit firm, but we slept OK, could do with memory foam type matrices.

I loved its location being so close to the University of Southampton. The food was OK and there was a decent variety of food choices.
The beds were quite uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's rest. I woke up with back pain and aching joints. I also did not like the shower glass enclosure as there was often a pool of water on the floor after I had completed my shower, which left the floor mat quite soaked. There was also no microwave, the staff was not friendly, and we had to call twice for a request for toilet paper for our room.
Eating at the restaurant was costly, especially for extended stays. Having a complimentary breakfast option would be helpful.
