Location excellent. Staff very friendly and courteous

Excellent location - everything, including the station, is within walking distance. The bedroom and bathroom were both very large and the bed was very comfortable. Good choice of food at breakfast. Dinner at the hotel was also very good.

Breakfast was excellent! My wife drinks coffee at breakfast and found the black coffee served up by the machine was weak and lacking in flavour but I then found the 'Double Shot of Coffee' button! It made the coffee perfect for my wife! The room was very comfortable and it had an enormous en-suite with a bath which was perfect for my wife. We were on the top floor and the view from the window was spectacular! We had a wonderful view of the Great Orme. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant on our first evening and it was excellent! Other main meals were eaten elsewhere because we felt the hotel restaurant was a little expensive for food and drink even though it was a lovely setting for a meal.

I requested a room near a lift because my wife cannot walk far following chemotherapy and we were given a room but it was right next to a lift, on the top floor, and was a little noisy, unfortunately. We asked about the possibility of moving to another room a little further away from the lift but the hotel was full, we were told, and no room was available. Thankfully, little use was made of the lift after 10:00 pm and so we slept well all four nights.
