Occasionally when we stay ( fairly regularly) it can be a little noisy/ once late at night when there was a party / music etc. it was definitely too late in my opinion and kept us awake.

The hotel is ideally situated a few minutes drive from the Park and Ride and then about 10 minutes into York. We had a lovely spacious room with a very comfortable bed. There was a good choice for breakfast and all staff were very helpful.

The breakfast was a bit pricey.

Room was clean. Beds were comfy. Staff were very pleasant

The room decor was tired and not very good in the bathroom. The toilet didn't flush very easily and the cistern took a long time to refill. There was no toilet brush to clean the toilet bowl if it became soiled. Although we had brought our own, I was surprised there were no flannels provided. I followed the instructions several times, but could not get the heating to work to take the chill off the room in the early evening. The TV normally went to a radio station and flashed up the message that the internet connection was very poor before connecting to a TV station. Although we were on the ground floor, I was surprised to find two smokers outside our window when I opened the curtains. It's a good job I was fully clothed at the time!
