Fridge in the room was kept stocked with milk, bottled water and cartons of juice, and pastries were provided - very useful.
Nice bathroom and shower.
Clean and nicely decorated bedroom, comfy bed.
Would have liked a chair in the room, there was a bench seat under the window but it was not comfy to sit on for any length of time as it had no back to rest against, instead your back is against the window sill. Also I found the lock on the bedroom door a bit fiddly at times to lock.

The room was so clean felt bad using the shower. Having a fridge with milk and orange juice provided plus breakfast rolls was a real bonus plus tea and coffee. We were free to come and go as we liked. The walk into town was the exercise that we needed we are in our early 80s and quite fit but may not suit some with mobility issues. Being able to park was a deciding factor when we booked.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

The room was very clean with facilities for making tea/coffee etc. Their was a fan in the room. The shower and toilet were very clean. There was plenty of space for parking. We were greeted by the owner which gave a personnel feel to our holiday. If you required anything all you had to do was contact the owners and they were there straight away. Within walking distance of the centre of Whitby.
The room was on the top floor and very small and had wooden beams running through it, whereby you had to be careful not to hit your head on (failed). The toilet/shower room was very small. Being right on the main road it was noisy if you had the window open to allow air in, hence the fan, as you couldn't keep the window open at night due to cars still using the road during the night and waking us up.
