By far the best accommodation I have ever stayed at. I felt like royalty from the moment I walked into the hotel. The hotel is beautifully decorated, walls covered with colourful happy art, the sophisticated scent fills the air, every detail was taken care of. The gardens/outdoor area carefully manicured. The breakfast is Michelin style. All staff are extremely polite, courteous, helpful, they make you feel comfortable but well looked after. My room was supposed to be the simplest single room. Indeed it had a single bed but the room was grand, high ceilings, large windows to the backyard and flowers, the bathroom was quite large. There were several fancy teas, coffee, milk, biscuits, glass bottles with still and sparking water were refilled daily. The room had such soundproof that I couldn't hear a single outside noise. It was hard to leave the room to go out and explore Edinburgh. The hotel lends large umbrellas in case you need it, every room is assigned their own umbrellas. I participated in the whiskey tasting experience and I must say, it blew my mind! I got to try whiskeys from every region in Scotland and really taste their different notes. I highly recommend it to anyone, even if you are not staying in the hotel. I want to go back to Edinburgh with family and friends and have them enjoy this experience. I was lucky enough to meet the owner of the hotel, she made my stay even more special. Alesia made sure that all guests were having their best stay. Her energy was contagious! Ah! The hotel is an easy 10min walk from Waverley Train Station. All in all 100% recommended. Do it for yourself, you deserve it.

So beautiful - unique - full of art - lovely garden terrace area. Near the end of Royal Mile andHolyrood Palace but quiet area walkable to tram / bus. Breakfasts are amazing- truly gourmet and huge! Most importantly the staff is top notch and so helpful. The hotel has thought of everything you need in your room to make it convenient and a smooth stay. Highly recommended!
