We loved the overall feeling of the hotel. The room was exceptional with some very thoughtful extras included. The breakfast was delicious with locally provided produce. The owners made us feel very welcome and comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Location is great.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Clean enough and comfortable.
For the price, we were expecting a higher quality of 'fit and finish'. It's got an old school B&B feel to it. They've obviously been making improvements. It's nice enough, but its not got the polish on some places nearby.
The first room we were offered was next door to the ladies toilet from the restaurant. The kitchen radio could be heard in the room as well as the kitchen smells. It didn't feel like an ideal 'nice romantic getaway' room. They were very helpful in allowing us to move to a room upstairs.
