Great location, and very welcoming team. The free afternoon coffee and cake was lovely, best fudge brownie ever! Ate there in the evening, and the food was fantastic, as was the delicious breakfast. Our room had a great view out over the harbour entrance, and we were nearly treated to a beautiful sunset but for a few last whisps of cloud suddenly appearing.
Bathroom could benefit from a light cosmetic touch up.

I have stayed in the hotel before so I know how good it is. Everything is spotless and feels luxurious. The staff are superb.
The only thing I would say is that I stayed in the single room by the sea and I do find the en suite very small but I appreciate that you cannot do anything about that.

Whole experience from meeting staff on arrival to departure was special.

The breakfast was absolutely dreadful. Overcooked (apart from the egg and tomato) could have been standing around for a very long time. Very greasy. Almost impossible to cut the bacon. Hash brown like nothing I’ve seen before but not in a good way. Very large chunks of fat in the black pudding.
