Kensington Gardens Hotel

Friendly staff, nice authentic entrance hall. Room was spacious. I easily could access it. There are tube stations nearby, so you can get anywhere in London from any of those tube stations. Fastest way to Tower Bridge is on the district line stop at Tower Hill. Most beautiful entrance in my personal opinion is via London bridge, because you can see the Tower bridge in its entire glory from left to right. Otherwise it’ll be a side view which is also beautiful. Natural History museum also very beautiful. Take the circle line to stop: South Kensington it’s a short walking distance from there. Also at the same area is the Science museum also very beautiful. Lots of other ways to go to shopping areas.

That the new hotel guests that arrived late threw their suitcases loudly on the floor and woke me up at night. Was thankfully my last night there when that happened. You could hear other guests when they flushed the toilet.

The staff (particularly Mary) were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious. Location unbeatable. Room was immaculately clean and had daily cleaning service. Room was a good size for London. Would absolutely stay again.

The only thing is there is no air conditioning but we knew that when booking and it was not a problem for us. A fan was provided and windows opened.

The lady on reception was extremely helpful and friendly. Spacious and nicely furnished reception and bar area. Room was a decent size for the price, clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast was very basic but nice enough for the price.

Location. Great quiet neighborhood near restaurants and the Tube.

The windows would only open a few inches and would not allow airflow on hot days. It was significantly cooler outside when it did not need to be that way.
