Hotel Goldener Falke

Good position: friendly staff; decent breakfast; nice restaurant.

Like many hotels, the bathroom was a bit small and needn’t have been given the size of the bedroom. Not a luxury hotel.

Close walk from the parking garage, and the garage had a lift which was great! The hotel also has a lift. Our room was on the first floor and overlooked the square. We would occasionally smell cigarette smoke thru the windows which was annoying but not the hotel's fault. Perhaps staying on a higher floor it would have been different. The room was hot and so we had to keep the window open. There was a floor fan provided also. Beds were comfortable and the size of the room was good. Breakfast was included and had lots of options. Really liked that the parking garage is also at the very same spot to access the funicular to the Schloss! The hotel gave us a discount on parking which was a nice bonus!

Room was warm, which I think is just because its an old historic building.

Breakfast was ok but not as good as other places we stayed.
