Hotel Roma Prague

Excellent location. Lovely, informative receptionist on arrival. Spacious room with free to use safe. Comfortable bed. Plenty of choice at breakfast (did this as an add-on one morning) Toiletries in bathroom, I always take my own out of preference but they are there if needed. Good price.

Housekeeping were a little hit and miss with replacing used mugs and towels but otherwise fine. No view but I was mostly out exploring so not a huge issue for me.

Have stayed several times in the past. It’s in a good location very handy for trams to all areas and short walking distance to old town, castle and Charles Bridge

Our stay at Hotel Roma Prague was generally pleasant, and we really enjoyed the convenient location. However, unfortunately, one incident seriously affected our feeling of privacy and security. On our first day, we requested a kettle to be delivered to our room around 9pm. While the three of us were inside, a male staff member used a staff card to enter our room without knocking, announcing himself, or waiting for us to open the door. He simply entered and handed us the kettle. We were so shocked that we were initially too stunned to react. We immediately called the front desk to complain. The front desk male staff acknowledged our concern and told us that the staff member would be reminded that he was not allowed to enter an occupied guest room using a staff card. However, the incident left us very uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. We were so concerned about our privacy and security that we placed two chairs against the door every night before going to sleep. We understand that the staff member was delivering something we had requested, but entering an occupied guest room without knocking or permission is a serious privacy and security concern. We feel this should never happen, regardless of the reason for entering the room. Apart from this incident, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the hotel's location. We hope the management takes this matter seriously and reviews its procedures to ensure that other guests do not experience the same thing.
