Constantinos the Great Beach Hotel

Great location and beach access, lots of sunbeds and wide area, great pool and pool area in general, good access to shower, toilets and changing rooms and restaurant, tasty and varied food (breakfast crepes my favorite), great see view from room and spacious balcony.

Hotel is due for refurbishment - furniture and room interior looks quite spent and low grade. Hygiene is questionable, some parts of room looked as if they havent been cleaned with lot of dust. Cabinet bellow tv had problem with opening and closing. Room staff is abysmall, for 10 nights we didn't get sheets changed not even once (sheets had plenty of stains so it was easy to track whether they change it) and room expendables, except toilet paper, weren't being replenished at all (coffee, tea, sugar, milk, shampoo, shower gel, soap). Towels often looked and smelled as if they werent properly washed and/or dryed - when I would get nice towel I would keep it for several days, just not to risk getting worse "clean" towel.

The hotel's location is absolutely beautiful, and the property was very clean. The food was tasty and varied, with plenty of options every day. The sunbeds by the pool and on the beach were very comfortable, with thick mattresses. Our room had a large, comfortable bed, and even though we hadn't paid for a sea view, we were given a partial sea view, which was a lovely surprise. The view was amazing! The beach is wonderful too, with fine, soft sand. We would definitely come back.

We had to pay €2 to store our luggage because our room wasn't ready yet. I then accidentally left my wallet in the stored bag and had to pay another €2 just to take it out, which felt unnecessary. The food is tasty, but a small remark: a lot of dishes contain coriander, which we're not big fans of, so we had to pick carefully around it. The staff weren't particularly friendly. We were on half board, and unfortunately at dinner not even water was included; every drink had to be paid for. Breakfast, on the other hand, included coffee, water and fresh juices.

Liked it all but had to ask reception for room service to be done each day.

Cleaners were not good. Curtains were stained and dirty. Shower was sending water everywhere. Breakfast was bland White bed linen and towels were grey

Great location, right in front of the beach. Beautiful sea view. The shower was nice.

Mold in the room's wall. Uncomfortable pillows. The food was not great, including breakfast. If the bed in the room next door moves, you feel it as well. In general, the hotel felt very dated. Bad price-quality balance.
