Louis St. Elias Resort & Waterpark

The buffet at breakfast, lunch and dinner were comprehensive with options for what looked like all dietary requirements. The food itself was tasty and I never struggled to find something good. Drinks wise there were several draught beers and non premium spirit options, along with the regular water, juice, tea/coffee and soft drinks. The staff were extremely friendly; when I requested more shower gel and bedsheets they sent someone to my room within 5 minutes. The hotel is located uphill from the centre, so going downhill it is barely 10 minutes walk to the beach and main strip.

The food options in between the main meal times were poor and consisted mainly of reheated or overcooked chips and nuggets. The gym had very limited equipment for a resistance workout. The rooms with private pools had little to no privacy. The rooms were very basic and dated. No cooking provisions in the kitchen and essentially 2 x small mattress for sofas with a tiny TV. It's quite a big resort with uneven terrain and villas on multiple levels, this may not suit people with limited mobility. The apartment overall was clean but the rooms were dusty in areas.

The service is excellent, the food is varied, and the selection of drinks at the bars is good. During our stay, there were always sun loungers available by the pools, and it never felt overly crowded. The children really loved the water slides at the pool. The room is very spacious and meets almost every need.

There are a few small but very annoying issues: there are no power sockets near the bed in the bedroom, which is very inconvenient. The shower head is old, leaking and sprays water in all directions; maintenance needs to be improved.

Good entertainment team - worked really hard to keep people involved

The staff of this hotel is very nice, you feel very welcome. Manager, at the restaurant, entertaining team was in the top level. The food was also very good, we enjoyed very much. Only because of the hospitality service I have a good impresion about my stay. beach is very nice shuttle to the beach is also very convinient
