Vangelis Hotel & Suites

The location is excellent—very close to the beach and right in the heart of the area. We took the all-inclusive package, and both the kids and adults absolutely loved the drinks bar. Additionally, the hotel staff was polite, helpful, and provided outstanding service.

would have given a perfect score, but I ran into an issue with the pool. I really enjoy swimming for 30–60 minutes at a time, and the adults-only pool was a wonderful feature. However, with each passing day, the water became murkier. By the third day, it was so cloudy that you couldn't see the bottom or more than half a meter ahead, which raised health concerns and forced me to stop swimming. This might have been a temporary filtration issue, but it is definitely something the hotel management needs to monitor more closely.

The cleaning, restaurant, and pool staff were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been kinder! They made us feel welcome throughout our stay, and we especially appreciated being allowed to use the pool area both before check-in and after check-out. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, right in the heart of the liveliest area and within walking distance of some of the tastiest restaurants.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience with the reception staff. When I asked one of the receptionists to recommend a restaurant open around midday, as we couldn’t find any open nearby and were both feeling unwell after our flight, she dismissively told me to Google it. Only after I ended the conversation did she suddenly offer a couple of suggestions. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. Overall the receptionist had this old-school mean vibe. Another downside is that pool towels apparently cannot be changed daily, and beach towels are not provided. This means having to use the same towel for both the pool and the beach, which is unhygienic.

Lightning in the bathroom & bedroom for ladies to apply makeup. Removing towels from sunbeds wasn’t enforced. Very noisy at times from where outside bar was near table tennis tables, this went on until about midnight.

Location is great and variety of breakfast options. Beautiful decoration

The rooms are beautiful, but the pillows are old and uncomfortable; they need to be changed. Rooms get noisy from outdoors.
