+ extremely polite and friendly reception and housekeeping staff
- not enough service staff at restaurant: waited at lunch time at entrance to be seated and they served cold eggs ordered at breakfast after long wait

Sofitel Opera is a gorgeous hotel in a central location. When we first walked in to our room we were blown away! Beautifully decorated, spacious and a bottle of champagne on ice waiting for us! The beds and pillows were so soft and comfortable. The bathroom was huge. We wish we could’ve stayed another night. I highly recommend staying in this hotel.

The location is veryynice, super close to a park as well the main pedestrian are of Frankfurt city centre and the opera plus a lot of restaurants . Great bed which has been very comfortable.
The room was nice located with a view to the park BUT you could not manage to get the room real warm. Furthermore the style was not really modern and spots on the floor tiles and on the table which have been in the material and couldn‘t be removed. Public swimming area very slippery, SPA relaxing area not pleasant because directly close to the SPA reception counter where the door to the SPA was opened very often so that we could not really relax.
