This property had the most beautiful Onsen that we experienced in Kinosaki. It had both indoor and outdoor baths, along with a cold plunge and sauna. Very clean and comprehensive facilities. This was the one feature that set this property apart from others we stayed in. In addition, we had a lovely, delicious dinner at their property, as well as a relaxing hot stone massage at their spa. We stayed in the Japanese style room and it was very, very comfortable. Everyone we encountered there was lovely and the hotel and grounds were beautiful. Great stay!
We very much enjoyed our stay; However, if I had to mention any negatives, it would be the location. The property is at the far end of town rather than in the center. It is just a short walk that we didn't mind, and they also provide shuttle service, but for some guests I suppose this this could be an issue. It is also more of a large hotel atmosphere, rather than a small boutique ryokan. It just depends what guests are looking for.

The staff were extremely friendly, giving us a tour of our room, and explaining how everything works. We also had a dinner with the hotel, where our waiter explained everything we were given, and had great conversations with us while dishing out our food! He also recommended a great footbath cafe in the town!
We weren’t allowed to take our welcome drinks from the bar to our dining room, but that wasn’t too much of a problem.

The breakfast buffet selection was incredible. The rooms were spacious and the staff were very prompt at turning the beds over at the pre-arranged time. The staff were so accommodating. They provide yukatas as well as inside and outside shoes. Best onsen was in the hotel itself.
