Yuraku Kinosaki was an absolute and complete delight on our trip to Japan! We were traveling with a group of meat-eater, vegetarian, and vegan diets. They were able to not only accommodate everyone, but also make amazing and creative dishes for everyone's diet. The meals were delicious, fun, and a great show of the local cuisine! The rooms and on-site bathing options were fantastic. The view from our room was of the central garden and waterfall. We loved falling asleep to the sound of the falls! The location is convenient and stunning, nestled into the hills of Kinosaki but also with immediate access to the main streets and public baths in town. The biggest highlight was the staff at Yuraku. We missed our planned train meaning our arrival was delayed, but they still met us at the station to pick us up. The greeting at the ryokan was so comforting after a long travel day. Everyone was immensely kind and helpful throughout our stay (and they were very generous with my attempts to communicate in Japanese)! A special shout-out to our server during our first dinner, Nose Ayumi, who made the meal such a delight! We could not recommend Yuraku more! We will always remember our time spent here and cannot wait to return in the future!

There is nothing bad we have to say about our stay. It was perfect!

It’s quite and have 5 private baths within the property

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was probably the nicest ryokan I stayed at. The futon was so comfy, the room was dark at night, the a/c worked well. I really loved the tatami and the sliding doors to the bathroom/sitting area, which overlooked the beautiful garden / forest behind the property. The public onsen at the inn was also a nice treat and very convenient. The property is at the end of the main area but it wasn't a problem at all for me to walk. And it was kind of nice being tucked away back there.

The room could have been cleaned better. I noticed hairs on the tatami when I arrived.

Amazing view, the most friendly staff, and very peaceful.

Private baths were definitely for partners. Groups could not really be accommodated by the tub size.
