Hotel AVAlex

The hotel is a good choice for a short stay, and us probably a good value for money given the high rental prices in Berlin.

The small room felt a bit claustrophobic.

- La décoration sobre - La propreté de la chambre et des salles de bain

- L'emplacement reste relativement loin des attractions principales de Mitte

Located on the center of the neighborhood. Quiet and clean

The property is in an extremely good location. There was good transport links and a fair amount of shops local.

The shared showers had a mouldy smell and a significant amount of time they were rather dirty. There was one woman’s toilet (not bathroom, singular toilet) for the entire floor to share. But these are things you can live with for the cheap price, you pay for what you get What was particularly bad though is that on two occasions the cleaners left our door open and we didn’t discover this until we returned hours later. This was due to our door being extremely stiff so very very hard to close. I recognise this was most definitely an accident and not the cleaners fault but the door itself, but either way it’s a safely risk leaving us susceptible to theft. At times we felt slightly uncomfortable as young women in the compound.
