La Meridiana Relais

Un relais davvero incantevole, in una dimora d’epoca perfettamente ristrutturata, con grande cura e attenzione ai dettagli. La proprietaria è gentilissima e disponibile, e contribuisce a rendere il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Una menzione speciale merita la colazione servita sulla terrazza: si paga a parte, ma ne vale assolutamente la pena. La proposta dolce e salata è molto curata, così come il servizio, e la terrazza è la cornice perfetta per iniziare la giornata con calma. Un luogo che consiglio con piacere!

The facilities were beautiful. It is in a wonderfully restored and decorated historic building.

Customer service was horrendous. After walking the Via Francigena and arriving when nothing was open for food, we left our packs because our rooms were not ready and walked to the market for sandwiches. We walked back to the hotel, checked in and then sat in the common room on the second floor and ate our late lunch. We were scolded by the owner and were told that our behavior was unacceptable at his high end hotel (never mind that he was sleeping in the lobby when we arrived). He said, “Imagine if other guests might see you!” Ugh! We were the only people on our floor, and likely the only people in the hotel.
