Beautiful natural surroundings
Mattress in room 7 is totally shot. Similar to the twin mattress we had two years ago in the outbuilding next to the pixel distillery. Hopefully new owners will address this.

I liked that it was located near the bridge and had beautiful views. The staff were great and welcoming.
Being an old house the floors creaked a lot and we could hear the creaking boards from other rooms or from the corridors.

Fantastic view! Breakfast was very, very good - a lot of food choices. Breakfast server was a delightful woman who kindly pointed out landmarks that we could see from the dining room window.
It was very difficult to get out luggage to our room. We had to haul our cases up a carpeted, circular staircase that had a hand rail on only one side. The man at the reception desk did not offer any assistance. Once we got upstairs, we had to drag our gear to the furthest room at the end of the hall. That required going up and down a few more stairs. Although the room was nice with a good view, the bathroom could use an update.

Great location, very nice staff, good set-up with the hotel having its own restaurant and pub. Great place to stop if in the Glencoe area. Beautiful surroundings.
There were hairs in the shower tub and it was not very clean overall. A bit too pricey for what you get.
