The room was clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very helpful - helped with our luggage which is unusual at most hotels these days. The food is excellent. Overall a very pleasant experience.

We were on the top room of the castle, and the hallway up the second floor was almost to narrow for the bags but it still Worked just fine.

Beautiful building set in well maintained grounds. Staff were genuine and friendly. Never felt like you were imposing on them.
Surrounding area was lovely. Relatively easy access to public transport. Relatively short taxi ride to airport. Room was broadly clean.
All streaming services were available. Basics, tea and coffee in room (though milk had to be obtained from the bar).
Given the price and a request for twin beds, we got a double bed in a small room tucked away in the roof. Value for money was poor. Found a soaking wet towel on the bannister on the stairs to our room. This still had not been removed by morning- despite having seen cleaning staff. The hotel, whilst initially quite impressive, was on closer inspection in need of a deep clean and touch up of paint. Bathrooms could do with re-sealing and tiles re-grouted.
