Village Hotel Glasgow

We love the village hotel as its so child friendly, we always have a really nice time.

The food in the restaurant let the night down 😢

I chose the Village hotel as I was attending a conference at the SEC and the location was fantastic, just across the river with a convenient foot bridge. Bus stop right outside the hotel also allowed easy access to the city centre. My bed was possibly the most comfortable bed I have had in a hotel. The staff were also exceptionally courteous and helpful. I had an issue with my bathroom and they heped me move to a new room with minimal stress - the bed in the new room was just as good! The self-serve breakfast was mostly good and I appreciated having the choice of porridge, though the scramble eggs were not great. Overall I would definitely recommend the Village hotel if you are in Glasgow for work or pleasure.

It was clean, modern, and nothing obvious that felt missing

I used the spa, pool facilities and they're good but also used by general public and that's ok, but it felt busy and there were people who weren't always respectful which I felt the staff could have tried to help with.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean.

The room was very dark. Black furniture, depressing brick effect wall paper and not environmentally friendly as the lighting had to be on continuously even though it was a bight sunny day outside.
