The Coledale Inn

Fantastic location. Outside seating area was beautiful with well maintained grounds .Inside was cozy and welcoming. Food was very tasty. Room was spacious ,clean,and very comfortable. Staff were outstanding,very attentive and happy at their work.

The breakfast tastes good and the staffs are lovely!

The sheet got mark, I assure it can’t be removed.

Evening meal was amazing. Great selection at breakfast. Staff couldn’t do enough to help us and were so friendly and nice. We will be back.

The older lady who works there was much nicer in the morning, she was very abrupt on the early evenings. The rest of the staff were lovely, attentive and very polite and mannerly. The shower pressure was horrific. It took literally 5 seconds to get a handful of water in the shower. It was so bad it was laughable. We were on the top floor. The breakfast was random. Some people were given the verbal option of beans and black pudding and some weren't. They weren't written on the menu as options. The Sunday lunch was outstanding. There was a generous amount of meat, it all looked lovely on the plate. The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was basic but nice. The bar feels like an old fashioned bar, it's quite pleasant to be in, quite nostalgic. Would I stay again? No I wouldn't. I didn't enjoy the older ladies erratic moods. And I didn't enjoy the shower pressure. But I did appreciate having somewhere to stay and be fed.
