Royal Sunset Hotel & Spa

The Royal Sunset Hotel & Spa was the best we could have wished for. My husband and I were celebrating 40 yrs wedding anniversary the staff could not have been kinder to us. Loved location right along sea front not far from Forio ten minute walk. We were able to walk with our cases from the ferry also. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking sea was lovely our room was perfect size bed comfy. Lovely staff changed towels and sheets every day.Nice smaller hotel so very peaceful and quiet. Thanks for wonderful stay :))

Loved it all.

I stayed here on a solo trip for 12 nights! I loved it. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Such a good value and variety. Staff was lovely and so accommodating for my check in and check out! I could not be more thrilled with the location. I could walk to beaches, top restaurants, town, supermarkets, and there is a bus route write outside the front door. I was able to enjoy the spa 2 of the days I was there. I loved all the different options. The human car wash was cool :) Sauna, steam room, grotto pool, hot tubs, and relaxing areas was just what I needed on this trip. Let's not forget the incredible views for breakfast and Sunsets!

The only change I would make is providing a coffee maker in the room, and maybe some rugs in the hallways to muffle the echo of sound. But neither of these items would keep me from staying here again, and will be telling people to stay here when they visit!

Terrasse view was an exceptional! I returned to an island to experience 5 days at Poseidon and it was the best Location ( waking 30 min to a spa or bus stop just in front), 5 min walking to the central street ( to enjoy evening shopping/ restaurants) and few min to the port. Breakfast was amazing and professional stuff, top service, new and super clean room.

Bed matras was so hard , couldn’t sleep well all 5 nights. 1 st time seeing such uncomfortable bed at the hotel ( despite of the stars)!!! But everything else was the top.

The local was brilliant!! Very walkable area with nice restaurants and waterfront view

The breakfast was honestly inedible. Only the fresh omelette was good. The rooms were not cleaned to a good standard. There was nowhere to hang towels to dry or a swimsuit
