Hotel Boutique Ideal

The family that runs the hotel is lovely, very helpful and friendly. The location is near to the beaches, restaurants and thermal pools. The breakfast and lunch were excellent. Gorgeous and peaceful garden with a swilling pool.

A little pricey

Such a personal atmosphere, the owners were so kind and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Very short distance to an amazingly spa park poseidon. Also a short walk to bara and restaurant.

Nothing

We loved the relaxing atmosphere of the property, the warm service, beautiful pool and gardens, and incredibly friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble - whether that was sharing ferry timetables, booking taxis, suggesting day trips or making dinner reservations. Paola truly wants everyone to have an exceptional stay, and she genuinely cares about her guests. The amazing Poseidon thermal park is an easy 15 min walk down the hill from the property, and the town of Forio is about 20 mins walk away along a pretty coastal road. There are plenty of options in Forio town for dinner, and you can easily take a ferry directly to Forio port from Naples and arrange for the hotel to collect you, rather than Ischia port.

Overall, it was a wonderful stay and a beautiful little gem in Ischia. Just something to be aware of if you’re not a cat lover - there are a few stray cats around the neighbourhood.
