We absolutely loved our stay of 4 nights at Thymus! Incredibly clean and so cool to stay inside a cave. Breakfast outside while looking at the hills of matera will never be forgotten. Well worth every penny!

A lovely one night stopover in a wonderful B&B in the very interesting city of Matera.
Good location at the bottom end of the town. Travelled in by car, so there was obviously the extra charge of parking off-site and subsequent transfer to and from the property - Euro 20 +10+10 = 40 for the overnight stop. Transfers were fine tho.
Staff were very welcoming both at reception and check-out the following morning.
Quirky room for sure. But well appointed and very comfortable.
Quiet. Nice touch of a free small red wine and local(?) walnuts to snack.
Breakfast was very good and plentiful with lots of the usual continental-style options, tho more cereal choices of a healthy nature would have been nice.
Another nice touch of a gift of local bread on check-out.
