Holiday Inn Chicago O'Hare - Rosemont by IHG

We stayed at another IHG Hotel our 1st night in Chicago and wished we had stayed here our 1st and last night. Room (2 queens) at this hotel was more spacious and very clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The facilities, sitting areas, pool, gym were clean too. The free breakfast and server at the restaurant were great, this morning. The location was perfect if you're flying out of O'Hare/returning a car rental.

There was a wedding at the Sky on Nine, on the 9th floor. Our room was on the 4th floor. We heard the thumping of music from the bar/wedding venue at various times of the night. Luckily, we were exhausted and had to be up early (for our time zone) and were able to sleep. I couldn't imagine having a room on any higher floor. Additionally, we looked at the pool after check-in and sometime between 4-5 pm CST. The pool water was warm when we touched it and the pool area was toasty. The hot tub/spa was not functional, maybe drained, but didn't look to closely and it had a net over it. Between 7-8 pm, we decided to go into the pool and it was too cold (for us) to enjoy and the area wasn't as toasty anymore. As a pool owner, I'd approximate the pool temp at high 60s/low 70s. I'm unsure if the hotel doesn't heat the pool and or area later in the evening, but there was a vast difference in pool/pool area temperature for us to enjoy it.

I stayed overnight due to flight cancellations. Did not experience the local area but convenient to the airport with shuttle service. Room was good and very clean. Staff were friendly.

The parking—paid $20 per night as expected but others took advantage of in unenforced perimeter parking and paid nothing. Tv/cable only worked one day of 3 day stay
