The only concern I had was music and people in the house east of us. There were two parties - pool parties with too much noise for us to sleep. It went on until after midnight on our first night and last night. There were easily 50 people at each event. The first night was a ball team and it ended after 10 but the last night was adults and kept our whole house from sleeping. Our neighbors in the other side of the townhouse were great![ 🙏 Thank you, Karen — and first off, I really appreciate the straight 5 stars 🌟 on ALL the categories, from value, to accuracy. That''s a lot of love! 😉 Even with the sleep disruption; that's gracious of you. I'm genuinely sorry the parties at the house next door kept everyone up those two nights — 50 people and music past midnight is a lot, and losing sleep on your first and last night is the last thing you want on vacation. I completely understand the frustration. That neighboring home isn't one of ours, so I don't have a say over their guests, but I'm always glad to know when something's affecting a stay — if it ever happens again in the moment, give me a shout and I'll do whatever I can, and it's worth a call to the local non-emergency line for noise after hours too. So glad Shells East itself treated you well, and that the folks on the other side were great neighbors! If you're ever up for a return, I'd love to host you again. Thanks so much for staying in our home! 🏖️]
