Lovely hotel in great location for easy walk into the town, local restaurants & pubs, plus National Trust sites too. Rebecca on reception is very friendly & helpful as are the other staff too. Very nice rooms which are clean & very comfortable but my only comments are there are no USB points in the rooms and the bathrooms although very clean & fairly spacious, are not as modern as other newer hotels. I also think hand grabs/rails would be very helpful when getting in & out of the overhead showers of the deep baths.

Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable rooms. Poor breakfast, not really up to scratch. Everything else OK.

spacious room, not air conditioned, unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to a friend's sudden death
