This was a good stop-over hotel. It's not conventional - just a few rooms but a well-stocked help-yourself breakfast room, and it worked well for one night and the owner, Julia, was lovely and helpful.
The room was relatively small - but well appointed and tea/coffee options and bathroom toiletries were all good.
It was really warm in the room which was even before the heatwave, and the blackout curtains really needed to be closed for privacy as there is no blind/net curtain which did stop the benefit from an open window, so if you have a fan, take it with you!

Clean room with 2 twin beds.and cute decor. Just was very attentive. Attached pub (Railway Tavern) had a friendly atmosphere, and best English breakfast on our tip so far!

A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff.
