DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront

We liked that we had a view of the beach and being on the 1st floor

Didn't like having a tub would have loved a walk in shower if available

Facility, room, beach, entertainment all excellent.

Receptionist during check-in, she no hospitality at all, attempted to double charge for stay, no information as to layout of facility, paid in advance for 3 nights resort fees most all amenities include in paid prices, breakfast include Not noted in system nor informed where and why not annotated later she realize everything was paid for she took no action in explaining Nothing. This trip was scheduled to celebrate my Wife 66th birthday, July 27th. check-in on 25th July out on morning 28th. Hostess at breakfast unprofessional, young man, waited approximate 7 minutes while he talked on phone. No training and no supervision at hostess podium.

Pools, grounds cleanliness

The bed and pillows and the view.

Bathroom vanity not in bathroom but next to beds. Staff not interested in helping find options. The toilet broke twice. A long walk in the weather to get to coffee in the lobby.
