Clean, spacious beautiful setting

Nice view of the lake from our room and easy access down to the lake. Quiet setting. Pleasant room. Very nice big bathroom.
Continental breakfast a little sparse but plenty of good coffee. Not enough seating in the room where it was served. The lighting in our room was a little low.
Had difficulty finding the driveway into the resort at night as it was not lit well and it is right off the highway so fast traffic was an issue. We were scared we would go into the ditch trying to find our way to the driveway after dark. We reported this to the main disk.

The food was adequate. The location and views were amazing. The room was great with everything to be expected.
The food was quite ordinary for the price. I would have expected something better and with more vegetarian and gluten free options. Also would have liked more choices for breakfast other than donuts and coffee!
Overall the staff seemed below average: somewhat disorganised, some unfriendly, some sarcastic. For a hotel of this standard I would recommend they all go on a customer care training program.
