Staff were so helpful from check in to check out. We didn’t use the shuttle bus and arrived by local bus, I do note some reviews documented communication as an issue, we didn’t have this. The room is beautiful and both the dinner and breakfast are an incredible experience.

Unfortunately traveling in October means the AC had been turned to heating only so our room was VERY warm overnight which made for quite unpleasant sleeping conditions.

Serene private. Felt as if we were the only ones there

Nothing

It was just magical, everything was so peaceful and relaxing it was great.

The food is very Japanese and needed a bit to get used to it, but the experience was great.

Our room was nice and comfortable. Location is very good and the resort’s shuttle service was good too. Food was excellent.

This property is not well suited for families with children and both the management as well as the staff made us feel uncomfortable being there with a child. The room is not well suited to accommodate families with children and the hotel staff made us as well as our child feel uncomfortable during all the meals we had. The resort also took advantage of the fact that we have a child to charge extra for anything related to our child - for the child’s bed, child meals, etc. even though the reservation we made on booking specifically included both the adults and our child.
