Comfort Inn & Suites Beaver Dam

The air conditioning had problems working at times and not working at times. Everything else was good.

Nice little area we would stay again. Hopefully have better room neighbors than last time, they (or their children) were definitely door slammers. NOT the hotels' fault at all.

Very enjoyable stay! Pool was huge! Front desk staff friendly and accommodating our later checkout request. Comfortable beds too!

I booked a King suite.... The layout of the room "suite" was ridiculous, it was a large room at one time, then they added the bathroom in the middle of a wall. So, you walk into the room to a small unusable space, with a couch in it. Then turn left to a bathroom door on one side and a king bed on the other, the bed is only 2ft from the bathroom door eewe, but keep walking, turn left again, there is 2 free standing shelf kinda things. One has a microwave & mini fridge, the other had an iron board and hangers. The a/c is on the far side of the bed, so there is very little air flow back by the couch area. So, bed freezing/ couch area, breathable. There is no way to see the TV from that couch on the other side of the wall either. It is horseshoe shaped. The whole hotel is set up badly. The front door in the middle of the lobby is an Emergency Door only. The entrance door is off to the left as you walk into another usless room and another door to actually get in. Then in, the lobby, while they have a nice cart of ice water close by, you'll need to walk all the way down hall for coffee. I never did find the ice machine. The 2nd floor halls smell of fresh paint and must. Thankfully the room did not smell. The pool is standard. It was clean, temp was ok, but the people on the 2nd floor can watch you in the pool, from the windows in their rooms. People watching from the hall or balcony is one thing, but you can't see what kinda weirdo is watching from a window. Creepy. All this for their standard rate of $199.00 For a Monday night.
