The only problems were the bunk room beds were covered in pet hair. We had to wash all bed linens including upper bunks upon arrival. (Cats?) the air conditioning pooped out on the last day. Otherwise great place. Not fond of playing maid on vacation though.

The island was great. It had enough shops to get the tourist shirts and trinkets. But it had a more laid back vibe and the beach was less crowded than at Gulf Shores. The condo was great. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The beach access was so easy and the pools were nice too.

Great location & views. Kids loved the bunk room. Hoping to be back, very soon!

LOVED the unit and exactly as described.. Nice pools and everything about the place was Top Notch... LOOOOOONG Walk to reach the Beach, Very Quiet Beach with Dark colored Water, Oil Rigs in the Background.. Very few restaurants on island and the ones that are open, close at 8pm... EVERYTHING closes at 8pm.... Glad we tried it though...

Dauphin Island is beautiful it is a laid back family place. The condo was spacious and clean with a great view. We are a family of 9 and we had plenty of room.

We had to evacuate NOLA after Hurricane Ida and I found a last minute reso at this condo for a great price! When we got to the condo we were pleasantly surprised by the aesthetic and size of the condo. It was relatively quiet on the grounds/beach even tho it was a holiday weekend and there were other evacuees from the storm in town. We will definitely be booking there in the future!

It was tastefully decorated with high end finishes. Anything we needed was there.

Easy check in after 3pm. Property Manager checked to see if Unit was ready - but last minute cleaning was going on. The Unit was spacious, comfortable areas, nicely furnished and well stocked. The Master bath had not been cleaned as the shower and tub had sand in it. The front Bedroom bath had a dirty bath towel hung on the towel bar. I think everyone understands and agrees in Covid and with so many former rentals in and out, cleanliness and sanitizing is key. There was a lot of sand on the balcony and the table had also not been wiped off. We did not tell the property management company until we departed - instead chose to clean, sanitize and vac to our satisfaction. Be careful of the Master shower door as the bottom corner is very sharp: One of my daughters sliced a heel and one of the grands a foot. Maintenance needs to take care of this asap. The MB room has hurricane shutters but they don't close tight so lots of early morning light. Same is true for front bedroom and bunk room - common hall lights are incredibly bright preventing sleep. Darkening drapes are definitely needed in both. I am a former Property Manager and believe with all the rentals of this Unit, the owners could easily replace worn rugs, bath mats and door mats, as they were in pretty poor condition. The balcony door also rubs and makes a concerning sound. We have rented many VRBO's in many areas of the US and overseas and at this rental price point their are reasonable epectations. My recommendation for any new renters would be to ask to review the Unit before check in to insure it has been adequately cleaned. Hopefully the owners will be attentive to the other needs.

My family loved everything about our time on Dauphin Island. The property is great for families. It is big and beautifully decorated. No crowds at the beach or pools. Never waited for an elevator. Walked across the street to pizza and ice cream. Enjoyed the aquarium on a rainy afternoon. The condo is stocked with everything you need and then some. The 3 bed/bath was perfect for our family of 6. So glad we chose this place and will definitely return!!
