Beautiful little hotel - right inside the old town of chiang mai. Well within walking distance of main temples, night market and numerous bars and restaurants - but still quiet. Helpful staff - Lovely pool

Lors de notre séjour à Chiang Mai, nous avons séjourné au Phor liang. Je tiens à souligner tout particulièrement la chaleur et l'amabilité du personnel : leur accueil était non seulement professionnel mais aussi extrêmement chaleureux, ce qui a rendu notre expérience inoubliable. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est un autre point fort majeur. Situé à proximité de tout ce que Chiang Mai a à offrir, il nous a permis d'explorer facilement la ville. Que ce soit pour les marchés locaux, les temples historiques ou les restaurants . Quant à l'ambiance de l'hôtel, elle peut être décrite comme véritablement cocooning. Il y règne une atmosphère de confort et de bien-être qui invite à la détente après une journée d'exploration. Les espaces communs et les chambres sont décorés avec goût, contribuant à une expérience des plus agréables.

We absolutely loved our time here! The staff was amazing, the room and surroundings were so clean and comfortable. Well worth the cost. Restaurants nearby and so much to do. Loved it!

The beds were a little firmer than what I’m used to but of course that’s a very personal preference and the AC in our room was not working as it should have so the nights got a little warm for us but overall it was nice and the staff came and helped with the AC as soon as we requested it.

Great location near to old city and important temples but in a quiet corner of the area. No restaurant but only a few minutes walk from good places to eat. At lunchtime they have a cooking class free for guests so you get your little snack and free teas and coffee all day. Nespresso machine in the room. Area feels less touristy than other parts of the city. Swimming pool is in shady garden which is great in hot weather and big enough to swim properly. Also very clean pool area. The building shows unique terracotta pottery art and is beautifully designed and presented. Staff is genuinely welcoming and always there to help.

Breakfast could have more different food for selection.

A beautiful hotel, decorated to a high standard and exceptionally clean. All staff are very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome! The staff were great at suggesting local restaurants, coffee shops and places to visit, very helpful. Thank you all for making our time in Chiang Mai so special!

Absolutely beautiful hotel with excellent staff. Great location with restaurants and markets nearby. Pool was a peaceful spot to cool off. No complaints whatsoever.

Great property value for money . I saw mixed comments about the hotel however I would say it punched above its 3 star . Very clean we had room 314 which looked out to the hills , nice balcony and quiet . Good location for the old town and in fairness we walked to the night market but it’s only 100 baht in a Tuk tuk . The pool was nice only 8 beds but we always had one . Breakfast was simple but enough choice . The staff are very friendly and professional . Opposite there is a great restaurant called faces they do fab cocktails

The hall and the common areas are breathtaking! It’s like in a temple. The position is in the wall city and it’s is close to all the main attractions by walk. The staff is super kind

Eu estou dando nota 10, porque não tem nota 1.000. Em 3 semanas na Tailândia, esse foi o melhor hotel. Café da manhã delicioso, confortável e equipe muito afetiva. Perdi meu notebook no aeroporto e eles foram imediatamente lá, recuperaram para mim e postaram pelos correios. Enfim, IMPECÁVEL em todos os aspectos, recomendo muito!

Superb staff. The aesthetics of everything

The wifi was poor for such a good hotel

J’ai aimé l’hôtel par lui même, le design extérieur et intérieur ( entree). Par contre, salle d’eau un peu petite, literie pas assez souple à mon goût et petit déjeuner un peu juste. Le personnel est hyper gentil.

Nice comfortable large room, helpful staff.

When our plans changed and we needed to leave one night early, the hotel refused to refund our last night despite the fact that the hotel was nowhere close to being booked and they wouldn't have lost out on a booking. Booking.com allowed the hotel to make the decision and the hotel still refused the refund.

The staff were very friendly, caring and helpful. My husband and I were ill ( colds) while here and they went out of their way to care for us.

The lighting in the bathroom is much too dim.

Beautiful terracotta sculpture adds a feeling of being transported to an ancient culture. Spacious room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and pool. Very friendly and helpful staff arranged transportation and visit to the Hidden Temple in the nearby mountains and terracotta gardens in Lampung.

Everything about this hotel was great. The rooms were great and the location was fantastic. At times, the street looked like a funky alley. But then it opens up in the morning with amazing stalls selling everything imaginable. Very quiet, yet close to everything in the old city. And the staff was exceptional.

Absolutamente todo estuvo muy bien, no obstante se destaca la atención de su perosnal tanto al momento de la recepción como en nuestra salida. Dejamos nuestros bolsos y el joven nos ayudó con la solicitud de un transporte. Muy buena experiencia.

Perfect location and great breakfast

Prachtig hotel, mooie ruime kamer en badkamer, fijn terrasje bij de kamer. Ontbijt is prima. Op loopafstand van diverse tempels, streetfood stalletjes, supermarkten en de avondmarkt op zaterdag (erg leuk). Verder ligt het in een rustig straatje, dus je kunt goed slapen ‘s nachts.

Zoals op meer plekken in Thailand, ruik je de riolering soms een beetje. Daar wordt wel wat aan gedaan door het hotel. Verder is het zwembad enigszins aan de koude kant, doordat het vanaf de middag grotendeels in de schaduw ligt.

Personeel erg vriendelijk. Mooi artistiek hotel met mooie kamers.
