Les merveilleuses expériences ont toujours procuré un sentiment de calme et de tranquillité. Quand je pars, j'ai le sentiment que j'ai hâte de revenir. J'ai des amis qui sont partis en vacances avec nous pour un week-end et qui y sont restés des semaines. Nous avons d'innombrables souvenirs de famille et d'amis qui apprennent à nager, à conduire un bateau, un ponton ou un jet ski, ou à jouer à la plongée dans l'eau pour une balle sur le radeau. Faites cuire sur un gril à gaz extérieur, une bouilloire à charbon Weber ou un foyer ouvert. Pêcher, flotter attaché au radeau avec une glacière, s'asseoir sur des chaises dans l'eau et avoir trop de soleil! The home is lovely overlooking a lake with a private pier and surrounded by a garden. It brought back so many memories good memories of family vacations in Michigan.

Mile 0 is super clean, the lake is crystal clear, and every aspect of the place is perfect for the whole family. Our 2 and 5 year old loved the shallow area and spent hours chasing minnows with their nets. Everyone loved jumping off the dock and swimming out the the swim platform. The owner even helped me out when it came to renting a pontoon. He let us dock the rented boat at the property as well. We loved every single minute of our stay and would love to come back again.

We were there for my daughters wedding weekend. With everything happening around the wedding this was an easy, clean, convenient, relaxing place to stay. The owner made the process very easy and the place was very nice!! Pictures make it seem a bit bigger but no complaints! We would definitely go back!

My two children and I had the pleasure of staying at this property for 5 days. It is easily one of the most well-stocked properties I've ever rented! Any time we needed something, it was there (we cooked inside and grilled outside). The property was immaculately maintained. The interior of the home was warm and inviting, beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of space. All appliances were in working order, and we did do several loads of laundry. One of my children has cerebral palsy, and I loved being able to walk down the steps on the dock, and enjoy the crystal clear water safely. Ken was a phenomenal host, answering questions quickly, and addressing an unfortunate incident when my child got sick, with kindness and efficiency. I had family stop out to visit and grill one evening, and they were also impressed with the property and serenity it provided. The neighbors we did see were friendly, and I didn't notice any excessive noise from anyone on the lake. We really enjoyed watching the boaters, in particular a family pulling their kids that waved each time they passed our dock. I wouldn't hesitate to revisit this property, and hope I have an opportunity to do so in the future. Thanks for everything, Ken!

This was such a perfect spot for a quick getaway before school starts. It’s very nostalgic of a cottage I visited at my grandparents growing up but the property has all the amenities you would want in a lake house. We enjoyed the paddle boards, floating raft, solo stove fire pit and enjoying the three seating areas lining the property. The landscaping is really nice. We really enjoyed our evening at The Strand and Sister Lakes Brewing Company which are 2-3 minutes away.

We had a wonderful stay at this lake house. There were so many extras that make this rental stand out from others we’ve gone to. The house was exceptionally clean, the beds were wonderful, it was nicely decorated too. Everything we could have needed was there in the house which allowed me (mom) to relax and enjoy vacation too. The lake was clear and had a nice sandy bottom which the kids appreciated. The neighborhood was great, a few local places to choose from for ice cream and food. It was a short drive to the bigger grocery stores and the beach and downtown area in StJoseph. Communication was superb as well, we really appreciated that. The house was exactly as listed, all the amenities they describe are accurate plus some extras. We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again.

Gorgeous property
Second time we stayed at Mile 0, kids are a few years older now. The property is gorgeous, it is meticulously taken care of. Can’t say enough nice things, hope to get onboard of a first name relationship because we will be back up there this time next year.

Our stay was wonderful. There were 6 of us and the house was very comfortable. The weather did not cooperate on Saturday but we stayed outside under the covered porch and still enjoyed our time. Thanks Ken!!

I’ve been renting from Vrbo for the last 7 years or so. This is the most stocked and efficient place I’ve ever stayed. The restaurant Strand just a few blocks from the house was fun on Saturday night. So close to various towns to go and visit .Beds were comfortable it was just a wonderful experience.

This home is very clean and the hosts are responsive and helpful. There is an abundance of supplies such as towels, paper towels, plenty of pots/pans, glasses, etc. This is a rental done right! I will absolutely be a repeat customer!

Great Family Getaway
We had a great relaxing week. We traveled with our two young kids as a last minute getaway before they started school. The house was perfect for our family of 4. House was very well furnished and had plenty of supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, towels, kitchen supplies etc. You truly just need to bring clothes, food and beach towels. The kids loved jumping off the floating dock and checking out the tadpoles by the dock stairs. We loved sitting on the lounge chair on the dock watching the boats go by and the view of the lake from the bedrooms. Lake was very quiet during the week. The covered patio was amazing - we ate every meal outside and it was great to be able to still spend time outside even on the few occasions it rained or was very windy. My kids were asking on the second day when we could come back! The house was very clean and comfortable. Thanks Ken!

Family time
Our family was scheduled to be in Lake Geneva To celebrate our 40th anniversary but ended up canceling. I’m so glad we did and that we were able to find this property. Our family had a wonderful time! Ken is a great host and this house is stocked with whatever you may need. Looking forward to going back!

Sister Lakes Stay
The property was very clean, with updated furnishings, all the kitchen tools and amenities you could want, comfortable sheets and towels, and a nice assortment of outdoor equipment. The location was beautiful and had several outdoor seating areas, whether you want sun or shade. The only caution would be for families with small children -- because the house is located in the lake's narrows, the wake from boats can get quite choppy during high traffic times. This was not a concern as our kids were older, but could be an issue for small children. The owner was responsive and easy to work with. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to this lovely home and would not hesitate to return.

Awesome place
The house was so nice! I loved that it had a king bed since I knew my littles would end up sleeping with me. Everything was really clean and well stocked. The property was gorgeous and the lake was the perfect depth for my kids to swim in (age 6 and 4). Can’t wait to go back!

Mile 0 is an ideal lake house. It is extremely well cared for, yet very welcoming to guests. We loved sitting out on the patio and deck for morning coffee. The rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was very accommodating with nice plates, appliances, and other cookware. Ken went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and provided tips and tricks to the house to ensure we had a pleasant stay (ie. parking info, garbage, plumbing). We have stayed here with friends before and will again!

Mile 0 and Big Crooked Lake. The perfect combination.
Mile 0 is a beautiful home for a lake vacation. From the very beginning when you walk to the lake you can see that the owners have paid special attention to every detail. The beach area is beautifully landscaped and has plenty of beach seating. Not to mention a fire pit area that is just perfect.
The inside of this beautiful retreat is perfectly clean and has a beautiful lake view from the living area and every bedroom window.
The bathrooms are new and fresh. The host provided lovely towels and soaps that gave the feel of a resort vacation.
The kitchen had everything most cooks would need and have I mentioned it was so clean?
We enjoyed our entire experience and appreciated Ken's quick response to every question we had. We can't wait to get back.

Amazing spot and hospitality!
Loved this home! Ken was so helpful from every step down to how to be safe with the traffic. The home was clean and had everything you needed to feel comfortable in the downfall of snow we received :) and looks the same for summer. So happy we chose this spot and will remember for future trips!

Great Spot, Exceeded our Expectations
This is a wonderful property. The views are gorgeous. The water is warm, clean, and inviting.
The owner is friendly and accommodating. The interior is well decorated and very comfortable. My family had a great time swimming and boating during the day and relaxing by the fire at night. Everything we needed to enjoy a worry free stay was provided and taken care of before we arrived. There are lots of small details that have been attended to on this property that make it ideal for a great family vacation. I highly recommend Mile "0".
