Fully stocked and easy to access buses, quick walk to town for all the shops and restaurants. Last run is always 4 O'clock and a 5 minute walk which is 100% worth it. House has plenty of kitchen amenities and everything is in the right place, easy to figure out, and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

We arrived in Denver during 2 feet of snow over 2 days in the mountains. I 70 was closed, so we picked our way over Hoosier pass in whiteout conditions. Crazy!
The condo was exactly as described, and the location is perfect! Brandon was in contact with us even as we were flying in. The snow delayed the cleaning crew, but he was on top of the issue and made sure it was taken care of. The two bedroom condo will easily sleep 6 people. It is literally steps from the free bus shuttle to Peaks 7 and 8. To return, take the 4 0'Clock trail to Gondola trail and you are only a short walk to the condo. 2 non-acclimated old men made the trip in less than 10 minutes in ski boots. It's as close to being in a trailside Condo without actually being on the mountain.
2 bathrooms, decent kitchen with all you need to make meals, it would be great for a family. Or, since you are right on the edge of the nightlife district, the apre ski crowd would find this perfect as well. Price is right compared to the others in the area. If we go to Breckenridge again, we'll definitely be staying here.

My experience with the host should have tipped me off to my actual stay. She was unhelpful and unaccommodating. The garage code didn't work, the gas fireplace didn't work and neither did the hot tub, the bathtub stopper is practically falling off. Breckendridge is beautiful and the location of the condo was good, but I would never stay here again. The Residence Inn down the street is by far superior for the price. I overpaid for this unit.

This property is perfect for those who want the convenience of a true 7min walk to gondola. There is also a shuttle that picks you up at the property just a few steps from your front door. To top it off, it is a true ski as you can ride the slope to 4 o’clock just steps from condo. It was a great time for my soon to be 21 year old son and his best friend. There was a garage ad an added bonus so we did not have to pay to store ski equipment. The owners were very kind and polite !

We enjoyed the stay. The townhouse worked well for us. The mountains are very dry. After a hot, dry first night, we discovered the humidifiers in the bedroom closets. Subsequent nights we used the humidifiers and kept bedroom doors open, which allowed heat to escape upstairs.
Skiing all day, then climbing stairs isn’t ideal. Definitely make sure you’re in shape for your ski vacation plus townhouse up & downs. All bathrooms are on the lower floor of the townhouse. When you are home, you will be climbing up and down. I probably would have booked the home anyway, but the description doesn’t say it’s a two-story, bedrooms and bathrooms on the lower floor. Kitchen, washer/dryer, and family room on the upper floor. Also, there is another condo above the family room. Our final day, another family was above us, playing soccer? Or bouncing a ball, with their kids or a dog early in the morning.
The townhouse was on the free shuttle route which was the ideal route to the lifts. Skiing home on the 4 o’clock trail leaves you with a 3 block uphill walk back in ski boots. Just take the bus!!!

We really enjoyed our trip and will definitely be staying again. The condo had everything we needed and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to get to the mountain, especially with the kid with us. There’s a bus stop directly behind the house which we used every morning but we also walked over without our skis to take the gondola on the first day just to check out the ride. It’s free and what a gorgeous ride. Breck is an amazing mountain with something for every ski ability but what’s amazing is all the ski back trails to different communities including this one. We skied all the way down the Four O’clock run to the parking lot of the community and walked easily back to the condo-which is right across from the hot tub (felt great, clean, perfect end to the day).
Inside the condo, the owners have everything you would need if you wanted to cook-all new appliances. But it was vacation so I wanted to check out restaurants in town. The owners provided a restaurant guide that I found really helpful because there really are so many choices. The walk to town is five minutes-the condos higher up and much more $$$ lack this kind of access and location perks.
The best part of the stay was the availability of the owners. I had a couple questions and shot them messages. Erin got back to me right away. In fact, Erin was one step ahead anticipating everything we would need. It’s obvious these owners want to make the best experience for their guests. Will book again for sure.

Booking is easy, communication with owner not a problem with responsive time, check in as per instruction excellent, kitchen utensils well stocked, cleanliness very good, garage for large cars tight but heated, two plastic sleds good for kids fun, everything is close by in Breckenridge.

Some lights did not work and not enough bulbs to replace worn out bulbs, reported to owner with not solution within 6 days of stay, toilet paper not enough, had to stock up ourself, noise of next door apartment can be heard, pictures show a bigger apartment than it is i.e. in the downstairs bedroom.

If you love to walk around town, this is the unit for your family. It is also convenient for skiing. We took the bus & walked to the Gondola. It is nice having two options. We liked entering the unit thru the garage after a day of skiing. The unit has a very practical layout and is warm and comfortable. Hosts give great restaurant suggestions. They know this city and share good tips

Convenient Location to Ski and Shop
From start to finish, communication was fantastic. Everything that you might need in a vacation rental was there. Fully stocked and laundry in the unit! We loved that the gondola was so accessible as was Main Street. We travelled and skied with out 7 and 9 year old and it was the perfect spot.

Twin Elk's location was perfect. After arriving from the airport we stopped at the local grocery store and parked the car. After that we never got in the car again until it was time to leave. The shuttle to Peak 8 was right outside the door, and at the end of the day we would take the gondola and walk to the condo. We walked to town each night. Location is perfect for older kids to go back and forth to the mountain or town by themselves without worry. Condo was perfect size for the 5 of us and the trip was great. Definitely looking forward to returning.

Great location with everything you need!
We had a great stay at Twin Elk! The townhouse was conveniently located so that we didn’t need to drive anywhere. The gondola to the mountain was a quick walk away and you could basically ski off the mountain to the townhouse. We did have a car and parked it in the garage. The hot tub was a short walk away and added bonus of this stay. There was also a fire place that kept us nice and warm after a cold day on the slopes. We’d definitely stay here again!

Great stay
Excellent place to stay and in a perfect location for skiers/snowboarders while still being close to downtown Breck! We didn’t have a car, and we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to go.
