Extremely bad experience. Host contacted me to cancel my booking 4pm same day before my was arriving in BGC to check-in from the province. Host insisted for me to submit a proof of negative PCR test and showed me it was part of the policy. Well that's fine, probably I overlooked. However, as a foreign tourist here it was not possible for me to do any PCR test at 4pm on the same day, let alone even knowing where to get a clinic or hospital to do it. As a compensation, I showed her my Philippines Health Pass approval and 3 doses of vaccine (AZ + Phizer). Explained to her the Philippines had no longer require tourists to enter the immegration with a PCR test, but an online health declaration - Health Pass and digital vaccine cert. But was flatly rejected. That's fine, so I got no option but accepted the decision, and rushed to book another available unit on Agoda very last minute as it was close to night time. Host repeatedly told me to contact Booking.com's customer service to submit for a refund request (well I never expected she would give me a full refund as she had to run a business too, maybe 25% or 50% since she was the one initiated the cancellation). Hahaha~ few days later, Booking.com sent me an email saying the host did not reply to my refund request and it was it considered as she refused even a partial refund. So she cancelled my order, and decoded to pocket the full amount. Then why did she lie to me to submit a request via Booking.com's customer service and decided not to respond to it? It's perfectly fine. I would need to enjoy my trip in the Philippines by putting this ''rip off'' behind. I met with a lot of amazing people here, only taint was this property. May God bless the host and correct her from the greediness, and lack of integrity. It was not even a big sum of money, why bother to do it this way? Still, I had a great time visiting the Philippines post Covid. My first visit in 3 years!

NO CHECK IN HAPPENED

I booked this property a night before October 12. The cancellation policy no longer applies when you booked less than a day of the intended check in. When I was asking the owner to provide the exact address of this property(Where exactly in Forbes Area), the owner refused to do so since RT-PCR result is required before giving the details back. This is insane! I said that I am fully vaccinated and if ever, would an antigen test is fine since RT-PCR is costly at the same time takes days to have the result! The owner said RT PCR is the requirement! Almost all hotels even the high end ones doesn't require RT PCR anymore! kindly refund the fee! there is no check in happened in this booking!

The cleanliness of the apartment was bad. No service and facilities of room were very bad and dirty. No basic item like hair dryer. Will not stay again

The property owner cancelled the booking at the last minute and gave me option of either a refund or a different property. I had no choice but to get the other property since I didn’t have anywhere to stay.

1. AC at big room not working well still hot even though it is in “cool mode” 2. LOW water pressure at Shower 2nd floor. 3. 2F cr 1/3 light we’re working.. too dim 4. Living area no light (too dim) 5. Replace remote batteries. It’s no longer working. Remote @ AC gf and 1 AC remote @ 2F were only working. I have to remove the battery in d AC just to use the TV remote in GF. 6. before i booked i checked the map, it is NOT located in forbes area.. way too far from burgos circle, wrong map pin.

The apartment was not the same as the picture. It still served the purpose

I was there for medical it was at a good location 15 to 10min walk to St Luke. The ground floor had a minimart store and a laundry service was very convenient. Sir Rob was good to work with made the whole experience a smooth process. The place was safe for all.

There was no bell service to help bring up bags and drop down stairs.
