We had a great stay and it was a great location. The owners were easy to work with and very helpful. Would highly recommend.

Very convenient location. Nice property. Could not get TV to work. A smoke alarm beeped continuously until I removed the battery.

We stayed at David's Flat on Batchelor Walk. Easy access to the streets of Dublin, cross the bridge you are right in the Temple Bar area. The flat was lovely and very comfortable to stay in. David provides easy instructions for accessing the flat and there is a 3-ring binder there with a lot of information inside. If you need a taxi, Uber, or bus you can catch one outside the door practically. You will enjoy your stay at this flat, clean, quiet, and a great place to rest and relax after a full day of exploring Ireland.

This property is in a great location, within walking distance from restaurants, cafes, and shops. The property was quiet and secure. The owner was easy to communicate with and quick to answer questions. Loved the homey feel of the flat!

A wonderful property near Temple Bar area. Yet it was extremely quiet. Property was lovely and very clean. Pretty view of courtyard.
Price was reasonable and worth every penny. Close to multiple restaurants, pubs and attractions.
Even had the softer toilet paper than Hyatt!
Owner sends many instructions but they cover everything so be sure to read them! Also, all info in black binder in apartment.
Highly recommend.

This apartment is a gem of a find. It's right where you want to be for all the sights and night life. I took my elderly parents there and they loved it as it was short walk to everywhere they wanted to go and all the bars and restaurants, so we didn't really eat at the flat. The flat itself had all that you need for any length of stay and the owners are super friendly and helpful, making your visit as simple as possible. Will definitely return here for future stays in Dublin.

Communication with the owner was fantastic from the start. Check in was so easy. The property was in a fantastic location- so central to everything. So quiet and spacious. Highly recommended.

Great location and very quiet. Felt very safe. Beds are comfy and no shortage of hot water and had no problem with the appliances. Top floor with a view and they have a lift! Thank you to Marcel for all your help and kindness!

What a great apartment! We LOVED our stay here!
Everything we wanted to do was so easy to get to and lots of great spots for food & drinks! We would DEFINITELY book here again!

Convenient to many Dublin attractions. Condo is spacious. Seperate washer and dryer work very well and actually make it feel like one has clean clothes. Apartment unbelievably quiet for location, but faces an innner courtyard and no street noise is heard. A great location and awesome deal!

The flat was in the heart of Dublin city center. Out the door and to the left was Murphy's pub! Excellent food and drinks, highly recommend! The Sweetest Little Thing chocolate shop was also super close and very friendly/informative. Abbey Court Hostel is where we secured our luggage the day we were leaving, highly recommend also.
The property manager, Maria, was very accommodating, letting us drop off our luggage and collect the keys. The property owner, David, was very prompt in responding to general questions and information.
Being a coastal city, there are a lot of seagulls and they can be noisy but we didnt find them intrusive with sleeping, which we did with the windows open.
Overall the space was very clean with large King size beds and spacious showers.

Apartment was centrally located. Comfortable. A couple of areas of improvement. Lock situation was awkward. Upper key lock was touchy and if used with the code lock could be frustrating. Code lock alone was fine. A few trash bags would help avoid any mess. Sea Gull noise is quite nerve wracking at night. Maybe a bit more sound proofing would help. Communication with Maria was simple.

We stayed in the flat for our recent trip to Dublin (mid June). The property pretty well lived up to our expectations. For us, it was walking distance to most everything we wanted to do in Dublin so that was really nice. The kitchen was small but it had all you needed for cooking. The bedrooms were serviceable. The property owner communicated more than any property owner we've ever worked with so we had a good idea what we were getting.
A couple of things to consider. There will be nothing in the kitchen. No salt, or sugar, or cofee. Nothing. So prepare for that. There is no abundance of linens. You will get a small towel for showering and a hand towel (we did not get face cloths as indicated). There will be no tissues, or shampoo...just hand soap at the bathroom sinks. And, if they say exit time is 9:30 AM, its really more like 9:20 AM, which is when the cleaning crew knocked at the door when we were preparing to leave. Finally, if you will be there in the summer, and it is warm, consider that the flat gets very warm and the property's ceiling fans did not all work. The windows needed to be open for any circulation of air and the seagulls outside are loud 24 hours a day. I suggest bringing some sort of ambient noise maker or something to drown out the sound so that you can sleep. If you can live with these things, then we suggest this place for its fantastic location.

We had a car which made getting in the first time and getting out the last time a little involved. Other than that, the flat exceeded my expectations!

We rented this appartment for 4 nights and had a fantastic stay.
Very central and in walking distance to all of Dubli center. Busses right out in the street and restaurants and bars just round the corner. A small balcony to the backyard/garden, no trafficnoise at all. A very quiet place to stay.
The beds was very good and there was 2 bathrooms in the appartment.
A very clean and nice appartment with all we needed.
We had a good conversation with the host and he answered quickly to our questions.
If we'll be back to Dublin again we'll rent this appartment again.. We really recomend it ++++

The location can’t be beat. You can easily walk anywhere in the city center. The flat is on the top floor and faces an interior courtyard, so it is quiet even though the entrance to the building is on a very busy street. Taxi drivers had no problem finding the flat.

The gentleman we rented from did not have the things we needed to put in our car so it would not be booted. Had to call a lady and she couldn’t bring it until the next day. The way we had to pick up keys was ridiculous. The phone that was not in our flat, that was the phone was we had to have to get in and out of the property. The day we checked out the phone would not work so we couldn’t get out until someone entered or left the property. Then I has to take the phone and parking pass all the way back up to the 4th floor while my brother drove around the block. He texted instruction after instruction to a point I was so confused. He got snippy when I reached out to him. This was after I read his loft binder he has in the apartment. I was told in the binder that If anyone asked to tell them we were friends with the Plummers. The loft itself was nice and clean. The miscommunication I am sure we both has a part in. Needless to say I was anxious and upset a about the stay. I am no spring chicken and has a hard time with a lot of instructions.

A group of four friends, traveling and exploring the city. This flat is the perfect location, steps away from the hop on hop off bus tours, lots of eating places. 10 minutes max to the Trinity, College, and Temple Bar. Out of the hustle and bustle of the Temple Bar area that perfect for us. The washer and dryer were easy to use, The heating was good once we figured it out. The instruction book left by the host was spot on with everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here, I would also stay the next time we’re in Dublin

Quiet, clean and well equipped flat. Bedrooms have comfy beds, even the single beds are adult size. The showers are nice and hot with plenty of elbow room. Central location within easy reach of everything you could need, shops cafes, tourist information, places to visit, pubs etc. There is an information file in the flat which is very helpful when using the TV, dryer etc. There was also a leaflet with a street plan which we found extremely useful to find places we wanted to visit and how to get there. The owner provides a wealth of information about the flat and keeps you informed with arrival time at the flat, key pick up, etc. On our last day in Dublin we were not flying home until evening time but were able to leave our bags at Abbey Court Hostel who put them in a secure room for 6 euros.

First and foremost, David is amazing to work with. He is very communicative during the entire process and is quick to answer any questions regarding the flat. This is my second time to Ireland but my first time staying at David's flat. I would by all means stay here again. Prime location, near everything! Dublin buses right outside, near Book of Kells, Temple Bar. Everything mostly in walking distance. The flat itself is adorable. The master bed was super comfy. Best mattresses I have slept on, on a vacation! The kitchen was super cute and clean. We loved it here! We wanted to stay longer and want to be David's neighbor lol because it's in an ideal and safe location. If you are considering this flat, just book it! You will not be disappointed. Thank you David for a wonderful stay!

This apartment was great for our trip to Dublin - walkable to everything. The Guinness Storehouse was a little farther, but could be walked when the rain let up.
The property was exactly what we needed - our teenager had his own room, and the beds were comfortable. We were able to make a few meals in the kitchen, which is well equipped, and there are grocery stores within easy walking distance. There are many restaurants within easy walking distance.
The communication was fantastic. There was a mix-up on our check in, and both the owner and the person on-site handled things quickly and well. Our flight home was cancelled due to the strike at Heathrow, and we got lucky and were able to stay an extra night on short notice while we found flights home. We cannot thank the owner enough for this.
In the middle of Dublin, the loudest thing about this flat was the seagulls. If we come back to Dublin, we will definitely use this flat again.

The apartment was nice. We were close to everything and it was an easy walk to all major areas of interest. It had all the appliances you need to stay in and save money. We really appreciated the refrigerator and washer dryer. Considering the age of the apartment, it was modern and well cared for. The apartment book gave us detailed instructions to manage the apartment.
Some room for improvement would be to update the TV so it could be used to stream movies since the only entertainment was regular tv. We kept the temperature low so it would have been nice to have another couch blanket. More than one towel per person would have been nice too since there was a fear of washing them incorrectly. But, the apartment book needs to be updated. Some entries are dated 2011 and are no longer relevant.
