Just so you aren’t surprised: the only bathroom is on the second floor so if you’re an older adult who struggles to climb stairs this may be an issue. Other than that, Mary Beth is very responsive, the beds are very comfortable, the property is quiet. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare something to eat if you want. I’d stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, this cute house was everything we were looking for! Very clean, nicely decorated and updated, had everything we needed ( plenty of towels, coffee maker, dishes), very comfortable beds and pillows, no complaints! We were exploring Charleston for the first time, and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go with our infant son. Great location! Check in and out was a breeze, and you can’t beat the parking right by your door. I highly recommend Xiao Bao Biscuit for amazing Asian cuisine, and Harken coffee downtown! We are still drooling over the lattes we had there! Callie’s biscuits were also phenomenal, as well as Poogan’s Porch, great food all around. Thank you for a great place to stay, we will be back :)

We were close to everything, easy to navigate. I had made most bookings for tours/food prior to arrival - no hassles at all. Host was great, very responsive

The property was exactly as expected, very nicely furnished and comfortable. Location meant a bit more walking in the August heat than we would have preferred, but otherwise great.

Great quiet setting. Was wonderful to come back and rest between excursions. Very comfy beds. Laundry and kitchen are perfect. Walking distance to King St. Yet far enough away from loud hub-bub of bars. Parking was excellent compared to others I saw. Definitely thinking about staying again

Fantastic, safe, walkable location and clean, comfortable home with everything you need for your stay in Charleston. Super convenient parking if you are bringing a car (your spot is literally just outside the front door) and plenty of Uber drivers in the area. Perfect for a girls’ trip!

This place has everything you could need! Super clean. The walk to King is about 1.5 miles so a little far but we did it multiple times to avoid traffic. Definitely worth staying here because it is more quiet.

I love this house. I would like to live here. The location is great. It is walkable from all points around town, or a short taxi ride away.

Nice central location within walking distance to many places. All the amenities you need. Owner quick to respond and assist with a parking issue.

This home was located very close to King Street, but without the noise. It was as described and well appointed. We did have one small issue and Mary Beth was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this home.

The property is in a neighborhood with numerous good restaurants within walking distance. There are also coffee shops that are walkable. King Street is about 1.5 miles away so doable unless you are doing a lot of walking after getting to King Street. The house is exactly as pictured. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, Jenn Air gas range, Kitchenaid refrigerator, Mr. Coffee and Keurig. Bedrooms are very spacious. Because of it's location, there is traffic noise so if unaccustomed to those conditions, earplugs may be helpful. The sitting area outside is perfect for the size of the property. Host was responsive to all inquiries. Nice place.

This rental is in a lovely neighborhood with Charleston charm plus the invaluable asset of off-street parking. Nicely decorated, it has comfortable beds and seating, a TV that is easy to operate, a nice kitchen, and good wifi. We're hard to please re:food, and the Cannonborough/Elliotborough area has many good restaurants within 2-25 minute walking distance - Xao Bao Biscuit, the Ordinary, Nico's Bistronomy, and Prohibition all got high marks. We chose to drive when we visited center/Battery spots, and with the Queen St city garage and ample street parking around the Battery, it was no problem. But downtown seemed safely walkable from the house, too. Many thanks!

Very clean and great location!

We absolutely loved this property and would love to stay again. We walked everywhere and the neighborhood was lovely! We only used our car to go back to the market area for dinner one night. We had sunshine all weekend so didn’t mind walking into the historic district. Highly recommend as an alternative to staying in a hotel ..the home is just darling.

This is a beautiful house. The kitchen provided everything we needed to make Christmas dinner. Beds were very comfortable. Within minutes of attractions and restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

The home is genuinely lovely and sufficient for two persons. Everything was in order. The location is very, very good for about a half hour walk through an elegant neighborhood to downtown. A cafe' is across the street, and an excellent restaurant is about a block away. This was my second such rental experience, and it was very satisfactory.

We were in town for a wedding and booked the Spring St house online. The pictures do NOT do it justice; upon entering the house, the decor is perfect and so stylish, very Charlestonian. We loved that the house is hidden away with a cute drive-up parking spot. We walked everywhere: coffee shop across the street, Little Line St Cafe, 3 blocks away, Charley’s grocery, directly across the street. We’re already making plans to return.
