I like people that very nice. I like the gals that are in the cleaning service. They’re amazing super sweet funny. Here alone so little chitchat with those girls made my day. I think that the management is very nice and polite.
The few things that I didn’t like, aren’t even even mention
6.0
I like the location because it’s accessible to the beach , store and dining.
I didn’t like the room where we’re in, I didn’t feel secure because it’s on the very side of the street.

Looked like they were recently remodeled. Liked the short walk over to the beach.
A little bit of a sketchy neighborhood. Just wanted to walk across the street to get a drink and felt like I was going to get mugged. Also, I selected this unit because it said it had a shuttle but it doesn't.

Very nice room. I stayed jt #8 and it was very nice. Shower was wonderful. Very pretty.

Good location close to beach. Management very helpful in changing a mistaken booking when they did not have to help. Restaurants and shops close by.

The rooms are large and well decorated. The bed was comfy and the bathroom supplied soap, shampoo, and conditioner in dispensers (which I like because a lot of places waste a lot of plastic with the tiny disposable bottles and wrappers) This is a family-run establishment and they were friendly and accommodating. It's very close to the beach and has a starbucks and grocery next door.
It can be loud. I played rain from my phone and was able to sleep through most of everything. The light in the bathroom kept turning itself on—think it was motion-sensored—but this was just a minor annoyance.

Location super convenient for the beach and why we traveled to Long Beach. Good size room. Bed was comfortable. Nearby Belmont Brewery was a gem, ate there 3 times during our stay.
Soap/Shampoo dispensers were empty. We asked the front desk to make sure they were filled. When that didn’t happen we just bought a bar of soap and travel shampoo. Parking was pretty tight but it did work for us.

The location is great - next to beaches, and the 2nd street shopping area. The staff was helpful - on our first night, the neighbor next door checked in arguing and yelling at one another past 10pm. and the staff told them to shut it down.
Parking is a little limited, but there is free parking on the street right out front. The room didn't have a dividing wall between the shower and the bedroom portion so if you are modest it might be an issue!
It is a little noisy being next to a main street and beach access.

Nothing
The room was small, with the bathroom- including a glass enclosed shower- as part of the room. The bed was lousy and looked partly broken. The staff was not helpful: we asked for extra towels at. 7:30 on Saturday night and was told the maid was gone so we couldn't get more towels. The only decent parking was a public section of the street in front of the hotel. All in all a horrible experience.

The location was beautiful close to the beach However homeless people were all around and the area didn't feel safe.
I thought the place was a dive. It was filthy I was afraid of bed bugs. Bookings.com and Trip Advisor have NO BUSINESS RECOMMENDING this place. The pictures on line falsely represented the place. We almost left but our rooms were not refundable and we were exhausted. The owners were polite but I'm not staying in a place for the friendliness of the owners.

The room was bright, with lots of natural light, close to the beach, Starbucks, grocery store, and shopping. Very quiet, the room smelled so nice upon arrival.
I requested an early check-in ( I couldn't check in before 2 ( the room wasn't ready). No coffee maker, microwave. You would think a coffee maker at the least. . Parking (back of the Inn is horrible). The room was chili even with the heater running all night. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. It was clean and cozy. I would recommend this Inn to my family and friends for a nice Stay-cation ☺️

Not much to like.
Front desk person was rude, and dismissive of our request for first floor rooms, as 2 out of 4 of our party are Disabled, climbing stairs can be difficult for my 80 year old mother. He followed our party to the neglected parking area, behind the motel, near dumpsters, and the friendly neighborhood homeless to remind us it is a non smokeing facility. As we were loading our lugadge the next morning, in the ally our charming front desk person was there to once again to remind us of the no smokeing policy. I have stayed at this property several times, and noticed a general decline in the condition of the Motel, and behavior of the staff.

the beach(es) are walking distance from the motel whcih was amazing. it’s a quiet area and restaurants are not far. would come back here again.
the parking situation. it’s first come, first serve so if you’re staying for more than a few days, it will happen that you might not have a parking spot and you would have to park in front. there are parking spaces that are not far from the motel at least.

clean and spacious and great location!
housekeeping didn’t speak English and hard to communicate with them. But my room was very clean anyway and office interpreted my needs to housekeeping.

Staff friendly and helpful, close to restaurants, coffee, beach, public transportation.
bed was low and I’m older, could have used another chair, next time i will choose a room with sofa.

This motel is very near the beach, pier and coastal bike path. There was a Starbucks right next door in the Supermarket.
Our room had lots of windows but they looked out onto an apartment building directly across a narrow street. We were unable to open the blinds and still have any privacy. The wall was very thin to the next room and we were awakened by normal conversation when those guests came in late.

honestly, there wasn’t really much to like other than that the front desk guy was pretty cool. Nothing against the employees, but the property wasn’t what the internet picture made it out to be.
The room wasn’t what the pictures on the internet made it out to be like I said above. The bed smelled dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty, the walls were falling apart with whatever was on them and the parking was to the minimum. Let alone, we felt very unsafe with all the random people walking on the property at night and the noises we woke up to in the morning.

Renovated rooms but a bit tired (cleaning of walls needed). Motel. stayed in odd unattached bldg where miniature sketch parking lot was. 1 block to beach good but next to tired Von’s and fast food. 1 block away area is very nice.
couldnt open blinds for natural light due to being first floor & being right at parking lot. slightly rundown block. very much a motel. seems pricey for stay/what you get. while I didn’t feel unsafe- I didn’t exactly feel super safe (solo female traveler)- and I live in large urban area w/large homeless population. I actually needed to do work & left very early for airport - for a nicer work environment.

convenient to my family
light and bathroom fan kept going on and off throughout the night. The lower level is noisy with people above and very close to the alley. No water or coffee maker in the room.

The room was spacious, modern, and tastefully designed. The bathroom and shower were very clean and modern.
Bedding (particularly pillows) wasn't terribly comfortably or luxurious. The hotel is in a not so great or welcoming area of Long Beach and the external building of the hotel makes a rather grim impression. (Thank goodness the room was much better than one would imagine from the outside.) There isn't much of anything in immediate walking distance to the hotel and this proved problematic for us when we first arrived, since we couldn't check into our room for several hours. The front desk attendant who checked us in directed us to the beach, but didn't warn us that we would walk for literally miles and not find a single bar or restaurant to sit down in. If we had only known to head in the other direction (towards the restaurant and shopping district on Second Street), it would have saved us an hour of wandering aimlessly along the (aptly named!) Long Beach. There were no amenities of any kind in the room, no coffee making facilities, etc., which just isn't good value for a room that is priced at over $200 a night.
